Thank you for purchasing this item! Please make sure that the battery of the Cathy module and your phone are always fully loaded, your APP is on and that your Bluetooth is connected.
1. Hardware overview

the APP & register your account.

4. Pairing the Device
When opening the APP for the first time you will follow the instruction steps and you are able to pair the device. Otherwise, go in the APP to Device Management -> Pair
5. Add SMS & emergency call contact
You can add a maximum of 3 contacts within the APP. These are the contacts that you want receiving your SOS alerts. Six free SMS & Call credits are given to you and are available within the APP. After using these credits you can purchase new credits within the APP at Purchase. These credits are needed to trigger the call and the SMS as these are send over the local telephone lines. Please inform your SOS contacts that the SMS message and emergency calls will come from two numbers: +1 857 3056794 or +31 85 0013556 It is best to save these numbers with a recognizable name and to make sure that they are not blacklisted.
6. Send SOS
Double click the SOS button to trigger the silent alarm. An SMS and emergency phone call will be triggered and send to your emergency contacts. The phone call is to indicate that there is an emergency and that the SMS needs to be checked. The SMS will indicate your location through a google maps link.

Double click the buzzer button to trigger a loud alarm.

8. Notes
The SOS app must be installed on your smartphone and connected to the Cathy Bag Charm in order to activate the SOS functions.
The SOS App uses Bluetooth BLE4.0 technology (Range is 3-5 meters).
You must have internet connection to use the SOS app.
You must enable the location services to be able to send
out your location with the silent alert.
You have to allow the APP to give you notifications.
DO NOT close the XD Design SOS app on your
smartphone, otherwise the emergency notifications will not be activated.
To install the SOS app on your android/IOS device, make sure that the software version of your android is 7.0 or above/IOS 11 or above.
