2. Getting to know the camera

3. Insert/remove MicroSD Card (Sold Separately)

1) To insert microSD card:

Slide card into the card slot with the label facing the front of the battery. The card will click into place
when fully inserted.

2) To remove microSD card:

Press finger against edge of card and lightly push into camera. The card will pop up to be removed.

4. Battery Insertion and Removal

To open the battery cover, pull from the slot following the arrow direction.

1) To insert the battery:

1. Insert the battery into the battery slot, following the direction of the arrow.

2. To close the battery cover, press and slide the cover in the opposite direction of the printed arrow. Make
sure to press firmly to ensure proper closure.

2) To remove the battery:

Use the tab to pull the battery from the slot.

5. Battery Charging

1. Connect the camera to a power source or computer via the MicroUSB cable.
If using a computer to charge, make sure the camera is powered off.

2. The red status light remains ON while the battery is charging.

3. The red status light will turn OFF when the battery is fully charged.

2) Connecting to the Yi Action Camera APP

Scan the following QR code to download YI Action Camera App and install to your smartphone or tablet.
Or, you can find the App in the App Store or Google Play by searching for 'Yi Action'. After opening the
Yi Action Camera APP, you will see the connection interface as shown in the picture below. View the
tutorial to connect the app to the YI Discovery Action Camera.

3) Updating Firmware

After you connect your camera to the Yi Action Camera APP for the first time, the app will automatically
download the latest firmware and guide you to update the camera's firmware to the latest version.
To update from the app, make sure the camera is connected to a power source or has more than 50%
battery remaining.
