Assembly of your XDrum drum stool:

Unfold the tripod and secure it for a firm stand with the lower wing screw. (Fig. 1)
(Fig. 2)
Insert the rod, which you will later use for height adjustment, into the three-legged
stand and now use the wing screw to fix the desired seat height of the stool. (Fig.2)

Finally, you can attach the seat to the top of the bar and fix it with a wing screw. The
seat position is now height-adjustable from 50 cm to 62 cm. (Fig. 3)

Stromversorgung und technische Spezifikationen
Auf der Rückseite des Geräts finden Sie wichtige Angaben zur geeigneten
Stromversorgung. Prüfen Sie, ob die Netzspannung den Angaben entspricht. Alle
anderen Spannungen als auf der Rückseite vorgegeben, können das Gerät irreparabel
beschädigen. Das Gerät muss direkt an das Stromnetz angeschlossen sein. Verwenden

möchten;
• Erlöschen der Garantie ist möglich!
Führen Sie keine Reparaturen selbst durch. Nehmen Sie keine Änderungen
am Gerät vor;
• Die Garantie gilt nicht für Unfälle oder Schäden, die durch unsachgemäße
Verwendung oder Nichtbeachtung der in diesem Handbuch enthaltenen
Warnungen verursacht wurden;

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Wichtige Sicherheitshinweise
• Gehörschäden sind möglich!
Diese Lautsprecherkomponente erzeugt je nach Einstellung einen sehr
hohen Schalldruckpegel (SPL), der den Nutzern, Technikern und den
Zuhörern dauerhafte Gehörschäden zuzufügen kann. Vermeiden Sie es
deshalb Schalldruckpegeln von mehr als 85 dB länger ausgesetzt zu sein.
• Mögliche Sachschäden durch Magnetfelder.
Lautsprecher erzeugen generell ein statisches Magnetfeld. Sorgen Sie daher
für einen entsprechenden Abstand zu anderen Geräten, die durch ein
externes Magnetfeld in Ihrer Funktion beeinträchtigt oder beschädigt werden
können.
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Monitorbox ausgeschaltet ist, bevor Sie Kabel
und/oder angeschlossen Geräte trennen.
• Überlasten Sie die Geräte nicht, um Schäden an den Lautsprechern und/oder
den Komponenten zu vermeiden;
• Stellen Sie keine Flüssigkeiten auf die Box und schützen Sie sie vor Feuchtigkeit.
Feuchtigkeit und Nässe können die Lebensdauer des Geräts erheblich
verkürzen;
• Stellen Sie kein offenes Feuer (Kerze usw.) auf oder neben die Box – Es
besteht BRANDGEFAHR;
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Monitor auf einer stabilen, festen Oberfläche
steht;
• Falls Sie die Monitor Box mit Stativ nutzen oder Aufhängen möchten, so
verwenden Sie nur starkes und zugelassenes Montagematerial, sowie geeignete
Stative. Die Installation sollte nur von einem qualifizierten Techniker durchgeführt
werden, der mit den Techniken und Vorschriften für die Montage/Aufhängung von
Lautsprecherboxen vertraut ist. Stellen Sie während der Montage sicher, dass
sich niemand unter dem Montagebereich befindet;

• Verwenden Sie nur Stative, die das Gewicht des Lautsprechers tragen können;
• Stellen Sie nicht mehr als einen Lautsprecher auf einen Ständer, der für
einen einzelnen Lautsprecher vorgesehen ist;
• Wenn das Gerät derart beschädigt ist, dass innere Bauteile sichtbar sind,
schließen Sie es NICHT an und schalten Sie es NICHT ein. Wenden Sie sich
an Ihren Händler.
• Stellen Sie den Verstärker vor dem Einschalten des Geräts auf die niedrigste
Lautstärke. (Nullwert)
WARTUNG
Ihr Gerät erfordert keine besondere Wartung. Wenden Sie sich jedoch im Falle einer
Fehlfunktion an ein zugelassenes Servicecenter oder den Händler.

Installation and Operation
Disconnect the unit from the power supply before installation.
• Immediately upon receiving of the equipment, carefully unpack the carton.
• Check the contents to ensure that all parts are present, and have been
received in good condition. Notify the forwarder immediately and retain
packing material for inspection if any parts appear damage from shipping or
the package itself shows signs of mishandling.
• Save the package and all packing materials. In the event that an equipment
must be returned to the retailer, it is important that the equipment will be
returned in the original factory cartonand packing.
If the equipment has been exposed to drastic temperature fluctuation (e.g. after
transportation), do not switch it on immediately. The arising condensation water
might damage your device. Leave the device switched off until it has reached room
temperature.

Connections
Before using the unit for the first time, ensure that your mains voltage corresponds
to voltage indicated on the unit.
Intended Purpose
This unit is designed for indoor use only.
SAFETY
Before installing or removing the unit, ensure that the power
cord is disconnected from the mains.
Make sure that the unit is positioned so that no one can
stumble over the power cord.
• The box must be installed by a qualified technician who has knowledge of
the techniques;
• For indoor use only. If the box is used outdoors, you need to make sure that
no humidity can enter the box;
• Use only suitable means of transportation if you want to move the box –
BEWARE OF YOUR BACK!
• Do not attempt to make any repairs yourself. Do not make any changes to
the unit. This would invalid your warranty;

• The warranty is not applicable in case of accidents or damages caused by
inappropriate use or disrespect of the warnings contained in this manual.;
• Musikhaus Kirstein cannot be held responsible for personal injuries caused
by a disrespect of the safety recommendations and warnings. This is also
applicable to all damages in whatever form.
Important safety instructions
• This speaker component easily is generating high sound pressure levels
(SPL) sufficient to cause permanent hearing damage to performers,
production crew and audience members. Avoid prolonged exposure to SPL
in excess of 85 dB;
• Make sure that the device is switched off, when additional satellite speakers
are connected or disconnected;
• Do not overload the box to avoid damage to the speakers;
• Connect the device only with good quality components, which correspond to
the performance of the monitor. So called “Clipping” (overdrive) of the
amplifier can damage the entire device;
• Do not overload the speakers to avoid damage to the components;
• Do not place liquids on the box and protect it against humidity. Humidity can
shorten the life time considerably;
• Do not place an open fire (candle, etc.) on top or next to the box -
FIRE HAZARD;
• Make sure that the box is placed on a stable, solid surface;
• If you intend to hang or put the device on stands, then make sure to use only
strong and approved mounting material. The installation should only be
carried out by a qualified technician who has knowledge of the techniques
and regulations regarding the mounting/ hanging of speaker boxes. During
the mounting, make sure that nobody is standing below the mounting area;
• Use only stands which are designed to support the weight of the speaker;
• Do not place more than one speaker on a stand designed for a single speaker;
• If the unit is damaged to an extent that internal parts are visible, DO NOT
connect the unit and DO NOT switch it on. Contact your dealer;
• Set the amplifier to the lowest volume (Zero) prior to switching the unit on.
MAINTENANCE
Your unit does not require any particular maintenance. However, in the event of a
malfunction, contact an Approved Service Center or the retailer you bought from.
