Getting Started
First charge your X-Cell Plus to its full
capacity. This may take up to 6 hrs.
To Charge X-Cell Plus
X-Cell Plus does not have a dedicated
adapter and you can use any adapter
with a USB interface such as the
adapters of iPhone, iPod, iPad or
Nokia, etc. <Fig.2>
To charge X-Cell Plus pull out and
rotate locating shaft in counter
clockwise direction to parallel
position and plug either USB end of
supplied cable into the X-Cell Plus.
Plug the other USB end into a USB 5V
wall adapter or through the USB jack
of your computer.<Fig.2 & Fig.3>
Please note X-Cell Plus does not come
with a dedicated adapter. You may use
any 5V USB interface adapter such as
the adapters of iPhone, iPod, iPad,
Nokia,etc.<Fig. 2>
When the charging process is started,
the indicator lights will flicker one by
one in the direction of the arrow. <Fig.9>
When all indicator lights are lit,
charging is complete.
The maximum input voltage of
X-Cell Plus is 5V, please read the
specification manual instruction of
the adaptor you will use.

To Charge Personal Electronic
Devices
Pull out and rotate the locating shaft in
counter clockwise direction to parallel
position and insert either USB end of
supplied cable into X-Cell Plus. <Fig.4>
Insert the provided appropriate tip for
your device to the supplied cable and
connect to your device. <Fig.5>
X-Cell Plus will automatically recognize
your device and begin charging within
seconds. The indicator lights will flicker
one by one in the direction of the arrow.

You may also use the dedicated USB
cable that was supplied with your
device.
You may simultaneously charge your
device and the X-Cell Plus by first
plugging other USB end into power
source before connecting your device.
In this case, the indicator lights will
remain in the direction indicating
X-Cell Plus charging <Fig.9> However,
your device’s charging indicator will
be on.
The X-Cell Plus will automatically
turn itself off in when disconnected
from your device.
Please note, when the battery of
X-Cell Plus reaches low level, X-Cell
Plus will automatically turn off to
protect its battery life.

To Play Music/Audio
When fully charged, your X-Cell Plus
has the capacity for up to fifteen hours
of music play depending upon your
device. Enjoy sharing your favorite
music and videos with your friends &
family anywhere you go.
Pull out and rotate the locating shaft
in a counter clockwise direction to
parallel position.<Fig.6>
Insert the 3.5mm plug into the
headphone jack of your device. Your
X-Cell Plus will function as a stand for
your device when in this position
making viewing and operation easy.

Make sure the volume on your device
is turned up to at least 90%.
Press the Play button on your device.
X-Cell plus will automatically
recognize the audio signal and begin
playing in approx 10-15 seconds.
Please make sure you wait a full 10-15
seconds for your X-Cell Plus to begin
playing. Once audio begins playing, you
may adjust the volume on your
device.
If volume is turned down too low,
audio signal cannot be detected
and X-Cell Plus may stop playing.
If this happens, simply turn volume
back to 90% and hit play again.
To conserve power, your X-Cell
Plus will automatically shut down
in approx 60 seconds when audio
play is stopped.
Audio Play can only function if your
device is equipped with a 3.5mm
headphone jack.
It is possible for slight distortion or
buzz to occur when receiving a
phone call or message during
audio play. This will vanish in a few
seconds.
Some device cases are too thick for
proper connection of audio plug
causing static, distortion, sporadic,
improper or lack of play. In this
case, please remove your case
before plugging in device.
Touching the audio plug when
X-Cell Plus is connected to device
or power source will cause static
due to electromagnetic distortion.
You may also simultaneously
charge your device and play audio
by plugging the USB end of
supplied cable into X-Cell Plus and
inserting cable with appropriate tip
into your device as specified in the
“To Charge Personal Electronics
Section” of this manual. Please
note this will significantly reduce
the amount of audio play time as
battery is being used for dual
function.
If you wish to charge your X-Cell
Plus while simultaneously playing
music/charging your device,
simply connect the other USB end
to a power source as specified in
the “To Charge X-Cell Plus section
of this manual”.
When finished using X-Cell Plus,
replace locating shaft by pulling
up and turning in clockwise
direction until shaft is over

Charging other device with Charging X-Cell Plus
Your X-Cell Plus is equipped with
intelligent software that allows it to
automatically recognize devices
and turn itself on and off.
Therefore, no ON/OFF switch is
needed. Whenever the X-Cell Plus
is disconnected from a device or
power source, the battery indicator
lights will display the amount of
battery remaining before turning
itself off. To view the battery status
Charging X-Cell Plus
at any time, simply connect the
X-Cell Plus to your device or power
source and then disconnect.

Trouble Shooting
No Sound
It takes 10-15 seconds for the X-Cell
Plus to recognize the audio signal and
begin playing. Please make sure you
are waiting the full 10-15 seconds.
Check that the source device is turned
on and playing music.
Check that volume level of source
device is at 90% or more.
Check that the audio plug is correctly
and tightly plugged in the audio output
port of the source device. If your
source device’s protective case is too
thick, it may cause improper
connection of audio plug causing
inability to play audio. Remove the
shell for use.
Check power level of source device.
Recharge if necessary.
Check power level of X-Cell Plus.
Recharge or plug into power source if
necessary.
Distorted/Inconsistent Sound
X-Cell Plus is running out of battery.
Recharge X-Cell Plus to full before
use.
Source volume is too loud. Turn down
the volume of the source device to the
point where the sound is no longer
distorted.
Check that the audio plug is correctly
and tightly plugged in the audio output
port of the source device. If your
source device’s protective case is too
thick, it may cause improper
connection of audio plug causing
inability to play audio. Remove the
shell for use.
Distortion occurs while playing audio
and charging your device. Unplug
charging cable.
You may experience a buzzing or
static sound during audio play when
receiving phone call or message. This
will go away in a few seconds.
Music Suddenly Stopped
If the audio signal is too weak, it can’t
be detected by X-Cell Plus. Please
turn up the volume on your source
device. Press play if necessary.
Please note, it may be necessary to
unplug and reinsert audio plug into
source device.
If it still does not play, check the
battery of X-Cell Plus.
Can’t Charge Other Devices
X-Cell Plus is running out of battery.
Recharge X-Cell Plus to full before
use.
USB needs to be reseated. Reseat the
USB cable and wait for a few seconds.
Check the source device’s input
requirements, if the device’s
requirements for input current and
input voltage are higher than X-Cell
Plus’s, X-Cell Plus can’t charge this
device. Please refer to the manual
instruction of your device.
Locating Shaft Makes Noise When
Rotated
Add small amount of oil/lube to both
ends of the shaft.
Battery Efficiency Reduced
When out of service for a long period,
it is recommended to retain 30% of
power and charge the X-Cell Plus
every 2 months.

Do not expose X-Cell Plus to
high-temperature environments,
including direct sunlight and fire.
Do not drop or subject X-Cell Plus to
strong impacts. Do not operate
X-Cell Plus if it has received a sharp
blow, been dropped or damaged in
anyway.
Do not expose X-Cell Plus to
moisture, water, rain, snow, or spray.
Only use the supplied USB cable to
charge your X-Cell Plus. Follow
specified method for charging.
X-Cell Plus will experience a rise in
temperature while in operation. Please
make sure your device is exposed to
air. Do not cover X-Cell Plus with any
item while it is operating.
If X-Cell plus is overheating, swelling
or moisturizing while in use, or there
are any abnormal conditions, please
stop using it immediately.
Never attempt to repair or modify this
power charger by yourself.
Disassembling this power charger,
including the removal of external
screws, may cause damage that is not
covered under the warranty. Incorrect
reassembly may result in shock or fire
hazard. If this power charger has been
submerged in water, punctured, or
subjected to a severe fall, do not use it.
Never force a connector into a port;
check for obstructions in the port, If
the connector and port do not join
with reasonable ease, they probably
do not match. Make sure that the
connector matches the port and that
you have positioned the connector
correctly in relation to the port.
In the unlikely event of leakage or
explosion, use sand or chemical fire
extinguisher.
It is recommended to fully charge
the battery before your first use in
order to extend its standby time.
Never charge device unattended.
Children or the elderly should use
the product under supervision.
Product Maintenance
When out of service for a long period,
it is recommended to retain 30% of
power and charge the X-Cell Plus
every two months.

X-Dream warrants its products to be
free from defects in material and
workmanship under normal use and
conditions, as follows:
During the first ninety (90) days
from date of purchase, X-Dream
will repair or replace the defective
product.
X-Dream will, subject to inspection,
repair the defective product or
replace it with a new or
reconditioned unit at its sole
discretion.
Warranty returns must be shipped
prepaid. A shipping rebate will be
extended to the customer only in
the event that a defect in material
or workmanship is confirmed.
Warranty is void if the product has
been improperly handled or
misused in any way, or if the label
and/or bar coded warranty label
has been removed or tampered
with.
Warranty returns require a check
