Multi-Camera System Quick Setup Guide
(refer to instructions packed with each item for more detailed information)
● Look for a box that contains the XCam camera.
c
● Unpack the camera and its power supply.
● Connect the power supply’s jack to the camera and plug the
power supply into any AC outlet. Don’t set up your other cameras yet.
● Look for a box that contains the Video Receiver.
d
● Unpack the Video Receiver and its power supply.
● Connect the power supply’s jack to the Video Receiver and plug
the power supply into an AC outlet near your TV.
● Connect the Receiver to your TV using the RCA or coax cable (supplied).
Follow the instructions packed with it.
● Set the switch on the side of the Video Receiver to ON.
● Set the channel switch on the Video Receiver to 3 or 4.
● Turn your TV on and select channel 3 or 4, or select Video if you used the RCA cable to connect the
Video Receiver to your TV. The camera’s power supply powers up in the on state when you first plug
it in, so you will now see a picture on your TV.
● Point the “pip” on the Camera’s antenna and the “squares” on the Receiver’s antenna towards each
other for the best reception.
● If you experience interference, try setting the Camera and Receiver to a different letter channel (A, B,
C, or D) - use the same letter on each (see instructions included with them for more information).
● If you have two Receivers you can see the same Camera on two different TVs. Set both Receivers to
the same letter channel as the Camera.

● Look for a box that contains the Transceiver
e
● Unpack the Transceiver and plug it into any AC outlet.
● Press the button on the front of it and check that it “clicks.”
● Fully extend the antenna. Follow the instructions packed with it for more info.
● Look for a box that includes the remote control, and remove it from the box.
f
● Press button 1 ON and OFF. The Transceiver will click, and if the camera’s
power supply (in step c above) is set to number 1 it will also turn on and off.
● If the camera doesn’t turn on or off, try plugging the Transceiver (step e) into a different AC outlet.
Now set up the other cameras in your system.
g
● Set each camera’s power supply to a number within the group 1-4 or 5-8 or 9-12 or 13-16.
● After you plug in each camera’s power supply, press the OFF button on the remote that corresponds to
the number you set on the camera’s power supply. The camera will turn off.
If you have set up 4 cameras and set their power supplies to 1, 2, 3, and 4, you will note that when you
turn any of them on from the remote the others in the group turn off. This ensures that only one camera
is ever transmitting at a time (if two cameras were on at the same time they would scramble the picture
on your TV.
