Setting Up a Wired Camera and Video Sender
Connect the Video Receiver to Your TV or VCR
These steps will guide you through connecting the
VR30A video receiver to your TV or VCR so that you
can watch video picture on your TV. Here's how you
do it:
Using your wired camera with a Video Sender will let
you wirelessly transmit full motion video to your TV up
to 100 feet away.
Connect the Camera to the Video Transmitter
Important! Follow these instructions before connecting
the transmitter to AC power.
1. Plug the square video plug on the
end of the camera cable into the yellow
Video In jack on the Video Sender
transmitter (VT32A).
2. Connect the white audio connector
on the camera cable to the w hite Audio
In jack on the transmitter.
3. Plug the PT30A connector into the
DC 12V plug on the VT32A. and plug
the power supply into any 120V AC
outlet.
4. Connect the camera’s power supply
(model XM10A) to the camera and
plug it into an AC outlet.
1. Plug the yellow video plug on the supplied RCA
cable (the one with yellow, red and white connectors
on both ends) into the Video Out jack on the VR30A
Video Sender receiver. Connect the other end into
the yellow video input jack on your TV or VCR.
2. Connect only the white plug on the RCA cable
to the Audio Out connections on the video receiver.
Plug the other white plug into the white audio input
on your TV or VCR. Do not use the red plug.
Note: If your TV or VCR doesn't have RCA video
and audio inputs, you can connect the output of the
receiver to the TV using the provided coaxial cable.
3. Plug the PR30A power supply into any 120V AC
outlet.
4. Plug the power output of the PR30A into the DC
12V plug on the VR30A.
Make sure the Channel switch on the underside of
the VR30A is set to the same letter as that on the
VT32A video transmitter and turn the Video Sender
receiver On. Simply select the correct input setting
on your TV or VCR to view the XCam video.
5. Attach the camera to a wall in the location you want
to monitor using the supplied mounting bracket. Mount
it with the cable coming out of the bottom.
6. Adjust the antenna on the Video Sender, if necessary,
to aim it in the direction of the TV.
The camera is now ready to transmit.
Make sure that the Channel selector
on the underside of the VT32A is set
to the same letter as that on the VR30A
video receiver and switch the Power
switch to the On position.
