During the development process we carefully tune each of our products to represent the W4S sonic signature which is no easy task! To ensure that your amp is operating at 100% in all respects we use strict testing regiments with premium grade Audio Precision equipment. Look no further for the culmination of performance and efficiency. In addition to the quality of our products, you will come to love our responsive and professional customer service.
Design and Feature Overview
The MC 7150 is a high performance multi-channel amp in a package that is attractive, functional and powerful. With over 90% efficiency, Class D technology has allowed us to develop and amp that will effectively enhance your music and movie experience! In addition to having a more “Green” approach to powering your system, this efficiency rating means very little power is wasted. Entertainment systems are often constructed with small cabinets which are not designed for inefficient components that require ample ventilation and this is where the MC 7150 comes in! The MC 7150 is able to operate in tight enclosures without creating excessive heat so you can choose the entertainment center you prefer, rather than the one you are forced to buy.
The traditional application for this amplifier is a 7 channel home theater system but it can also be very successful running 5 channels with the mains in a biamped configuration. Power is delivered to the speakers through 14AWG OFC wiring connected to gold plated, insulated 5-way binding posts. Power consumption when in standby is less than 0.5w so you can be sure it’s easy on the wallet! A 12V DC trigger input jack located on the rear panel will allow you to easily put the unit in standby when connected to the trigger output of a processor.
The lower portion of the rear panel is lined with 7 RCA jacks that feed into a refined version of our 2 this amp allows for optimum results when using the tuning features of your processor such as room correction or audio equalization. Another great point worth noting is that you can operate any number of channels and those which are unused will consume a negligible amount of power.
The new chassis is more striking than ever! When looking at the front of the unit, only three screws are visible which are tucked neatly along the rear edge of the top cover. We have added a machined front panel cut from a solid piece of 1” aluminum and finished it with a smooth black powder coat. Two color options are
