It is very important to complete the warranty registration form located on our

website. You MUST complete and submit the form within 30 days of purchase to
activate your warranty. When you navigate to our website there is a tab called
“Register Products” that will allow you to fill out and submit the form.

**Keep your packaging! It is custom made for your unit and will effectively protect it for

possible future use.**

Important

Please read the entire manual before connecting this product to any existing
components. This manual contains detailed information regarding the design,
operation and features of the Wyred 4 Sound mAMP. Damage due to misuse or
failure to properly follow instructions will not be covered under warranty. See
“Warranty” for an in depth understanding of warranty restrictions regarding this
product.

**Caution**

The mAMP has an external AC mains switch that must be properly
configured before connecting to AC power. Any damage as a result of
failure to set the switch properly is not covered under warranty. Please
refer to the “AC Mains Voltage switch” section in the manual for the fuse
value and configuration instructions.

Introduction

The transparent nature of a Wyred 4 Sound product reproduces your favorite
recording with an abundance of detail and transparency. The circuits are carefully
designed and built with premium grade components to produce optimum
performance. Nothing is better than having neutral power behind your music!

We understand that there are other products on the market which have
similar features and internal parts. To release a product ahead of its time, we
experiment with numerous variations of each design to ensure the most elite is
selected for final production. Each of our products goes through many variations
fully optimize performance. We design and manufacture our products in the USA to
ensure excellent quality, yet offer prices comparable to those produced in regions
where manufacturing is much less costly. In addition to impressive performance you
can expect superb build quality and excellent customer service.

Design and Feature Overview

The mAMP utilizes the latest generation of ICEpower® technology in addition
to a completely redesigned input stage. The new amplifier design reproduces audio
with negligible wasted energy. Despite the mAMP’s small footprint, it is able to
provide exceptional dynamic performance while offering jaw dropping micro-details.
The power is delivered to your speakers through 14AWG OFC wiring connected to
gold plated, insulated 5-way binding posts. While in standby, the amplifier power
consumption is less than 0.5w and also keeps the idle power loss under 10 watts!

With a meticulous refined input stage that has been optimized for frequency
response, distortion and performance; Balanced or unbalanced inputs can be utilized
with exceptional results. A tremendous amount of time has been spent tuning the
front end to produce our signature sound. The circuit includes a dual differential
common mode converter which has been derived from our world famous DAC-2.
Regardless of input type, the high quality differential input stage allows us to feed
the amplifier with a pure balanced signal with ease. Another function of the front
end is to isolate impedance mismatches which would otherwise become harmful to
the audio. The 100k input impedance will pair well with everything from W4S gear to
tube components without loading down the output stage of your source.
Furthermore, our 3rd generation technology will significantly reduce the detrimental
effects of a noisy source through balanced circuitry, audio grade capacitors, and the
quad-paralleled front end.

The mono-block design also gives you many placement options for improved
performance and convenience. It is very important for the amplifier to have
