2.3 Insert SIM Card
The W156N is a Dual SIM mobile phone allowing you to use two SIM Cards.
1. Switch off the mobile phone and remove the rear cover and battery.
2. Insert the SIM card correctly in the SIM slot(s) as shown below.
3. Finally, insert the battery and replace the rear cover of the mobile phone.
2.4 Insert Memory Card
1. Switch off the phone and remove the rear cover and the battery.
2. Open the memory card slot, and insert the memory card into the slot.
3. Close the memory card slot.
4. Finally, insert the battery and the rear cover of the mobile phone.
Note:
Use only compatible memory cards. Incompatible cards may damage the slot or corrupt the data stored in the card.
3. Basic Operations
3.1 Switch Phone ON/OFF
To switch ON your phone, press and hold the End key for a few seconds.
To turn OFF your phone, press and hold the End key for a few seconds.
3.2 Unlock the phone
If you do not use the phone for a while, the screen is replaced with a locked screen.
1. Press the Left soft Key lightly. Then press the “*” key
3.3 Make a call
You can make a call in the following ways:
Enter the desired number in standby mode and press the Call key.
Go to Menu> Phonebook and then dial the desired number. Just press the Call key to dial the contacts listed in Call History. You can also dial a contact from the messages.
3.4 Answer a Call
Press the Call key to answer a call.
3.5 Reject a Call
Press the End key to reject an incoming call.
3.6 Hold a Call Conference
You can talk with more than one person at the same time through call conference.
1. While on a call, dial another contact. Once the new call gets connected, the first call will be put on hold.
2. After this, press Options and then choose Conference.
Note: This is network dependent and you may need to contact your network operator to activate this feature.
3.7 Swap a Call
1. While on a call, go to phonebook and dial a contact. Once the call gets connected, the first call will be put on hold.
2. After this, press Options and then choose Swap. The active call and the call on hold will be interchanged.
3.8 Choose User Profiles
Menu > Profiles
You can choose your profile such as General mode, Vibrate, Meeting, Outdoor.
4 Some Notable Features
4.1 Lock your SIM Card
Menu > Settings> Security Settings> PIN1/PIN2
Lets you lock your SIM card via a security password which you can change anytime.
Note: After you activate the PIN lock, you would be asked for a password whenever your phone or any other phone accesses the SIM card.
4.2 Manage Your Files
Menu > File Manager
You can view and manage your files available in the Phone or memory card from the file Manager. You can rename, view details share, move delete files and so on via the file Manager. You can also format your phone or card memory from here.
4.3 Useful Applications
From the main menu, you can tap Organizer and use applications like alarm, calendar, and calculator.

4.4 Camera
Menu > Multimedia > Camera
Press the OK Key to start capture.
4.5 Music
Menu > Multimedia > Audio Player / Dedicated MP3 Key
Lets you play songs and stored in your memory card.
4.6 Video player
Menu > Multimedia > Video player
Use this function to play video files. By pressing the direction key you can control the playing process of video player: play/pauseOK key , fast forward (press and hold right direction key) and rewind (press and hold left direction key).
4.7 Video recorder
Menu > Multimedia > Video recorder
Press the OK Key to start recording.
You can also choose settings, storage, and so on.
4.8 FM Radio
Menu > Multimedia > FM radio
Your phone comes with an FM radio to let you listen to FM channels.
4.9 Image Viewer
Menu >Multimedia> Image viewer
you to view your saved images. You can also send the images via Bluetooth or use it as wallpaper etc.
4.10 Sound Recorder
Menu > Multimedia > Sound recorder
You can record surrounding sounds using this feature.
5 Phonebook Features
Your phonebook stores all your saved contacts for anytime use. Your phonebook data can be stored in your SIM card or your phone memory. You can manage your contacts from here. You can access your phonebook by going to:
Menu > Phonebook
5.1 Add New Contact
Menu > Phonebook > Add New Contact > Left soft key > Select
5.2 Send SMS via Phonebook
Menu > Phonebook>Left soft key > Send text message
5.3 Call a Contact
Menu > Phonebook
you just highlight the number and press the Call key.
5.4 Copy Contact
Menu > Phonebook > Left soft Key > Copy
Copy the record from current storage to other storage.
5.5 Add to Blacklist
Menu > Phonebook > Left soft Key > Add to Blacklist
In this case the contact will be blocked from calling you .
5.6 Mark Several
Menu > Phonebook> Left soft Key > Mark several
Allows you to mark single or several contacts to send SMS, delete.
5.7 Phonebook Settings
Menu > Phonebook > Left soft Key > Phonebook settings
The phonebook settings provide the following options:
Preferred storage: You can Save Contacts to your Desire location
Phone/SIM/All
Speed Dial: Assign speed dial for rapid dialing to desired numbers. Extra Numbers: Add extra numbers like Fix dial. Memory Status: Check the memory status of SIM and Phone. Move Contacts: Move contacts from Phone to SIM or vice versa. Copy contacts: You can copy contacts from Phone or from SIM
Delete All Contacts: Delete all contacts from phone or SIM
6 Call Center
6.1 View Call History
Menu > Call History
The Call History lists the calls you have recently dialed, received, missed for SIM1 and SIM 2 .
Tip: You can also directly access the call History of SIM 1 and SIM 2 by directly pressing the call key.
6.2 Actions from Call History
Highlight an entry and then click OK key for working with that contact. You can do following functions from call logs like make call , send text
message , save to phonebook , add to blacklist and delete.
7 Messaging
7.1 Write Text Messages
Menu > Messaging > Write Message
Into the write SMS interface, you can write SMS in Hindi, English.
7.2 Inbox
Menu > Messaging > Inbox
The Inbox list the Received SMS. You can view the received SMS with
this function.
7.3 Outbox
Menu > Messaging > Outbox
The message will be store in Outbox automatically when message sent failed.
7.4 Drafts
Menu > Messaging > Drafts
You can save message in draft folder.
7.5 Sent messages
Menu > Messaging > Sent messages
Sent messages are saved here.
7.6 SMS Settings
Menu > Messaging > SMS settings
You can set your desired parameters for Text message .
Note:- Please contact your network operator for the settings.
8 Phone Settings
You can go to Settings to set various preferences for your phone.
Phone Settings
Set preferences such as Time & date, language, Display, Dedicated keys etc.
Dual SIM Settings
You can select Dual SIM open or only sim1/sim2 open.
Call Settings ( This option is available under call center)
You can set your call settings such as Dual-SIM, Blacklist, Auto redial, Call time reminder, Answer mode.
Network Settings
Use the default setting provided by the network operator.
Profiles ( Go to Menu > Profiles)
Choose your profiles based on your situation
Restore Settings
Restore your phone to factory settings. The default password is 0000
9 Health and Safety Precautions
Please read these simple guidelines. Not following them may be dangerous or illegal.
Your phone is designed not to exceed the limits of e mission of radio
waves recommended by international guidelines.
SAR (specific absorption rate) is the measurement of body-absorbed
RF quantity when the phone is in use. SAR value is ascertained according to the highest RF level generated during laboratory tests.
The SAR value of the phone may depend on factors such as proximity
to the network tower, use of accessories or other accessories.
The highest SAR value of the W156N at the head is 1.096 W/kg
averaged over 1 gm of human tissue.
Use a wireless hands-free system (headphone, headset) with a low
power Bluetooth emitter.
Please keep your calls short and use SMS whenever more convenient.
This advice applies especially to children, adolescents and pregnant women
Prefer to use your cell phone when the signal quality is good. People having active medical implants should preferably keep the cell
phone at least 15 cm away from the implant.
Maintain a preferable distance of 15 mm from the device.

Flight is influenced by interference caused by the phone. It is illegal to
use a phone on the airplane. Please turn off your phone during a flight.
Your Phone’s radio waves may interfere with the functioning of
inadequately shielded medical devices. Consult a physician or the manufacturer of the medical device to determine whether they are adequately shielded from external Radio Frequency. Switch off your device when regulations posted instruct you to do so.
To avoid potential interference with implanted medical devices such as a
pacemaker or cardioverter defibrillator:
Always keep your phone at least 15.3 centimeters (6 inches) from the
medical device.
Do not carry the wireless device in a breast pocket. Turn off the phone if there is any reason to suspect that interference is
taking place.
Follow the manufacturer directions for the implanted medical device. If you have any questions about using your wireless device with an
implanted medical device, consult your health care provider.
During Flight

Please turn off your phone when you are close to a gas station or in the
vicinity of any place where fuel and chemical preparations, or any other dangerous goods are stored.
10 Taking Care of Your Device
Your device is a product of superior design and craftsmanship and should be handled with care: The following suggestions will help you protect your phone:
Keep the device dry. Precipitation, humidity, and all types of liquids or
moisture can contain minerals that wi ll rust electronic circuits. If your device does get wet, remove the battery withou t turning on the device, wipe it with a dry cloth and take it the service center.
Do not store the device in high or cold temperature. High
temperatures can shorten the life of electronic devices and damage batteries.
Do not use or store th e device in dusty, dirty areas. Its moving parts
and electronic components can be damaged.
Do not attempt to open the device other than as instructed in this
guide. Repairing this phone by yourself other than our authorized service agents/centers goes against the warranty rules.
Do not drop, knock, or sha ke the device. Rough handling can break
internal circuit boards and fine mechanics.
Unsafe Areas
Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents to
clean the device. Only use a soft, clean, dry cloth to clean the surface of the device.
Do not store your device near magnetic fields or allow your device to
come in contact with magnetic fields for extended period of time.
Please put the battery in a cool and well-ventilated place out of direct
sunlight. We recommend you to charge the battery at room temperature range.
Batteries have life cycles. If the time that the battery powers
equipment becomes much shorter than usual, the battery life is at an end. Replace the battery with a new battery of the same make and specification.
Do not discard the battery with household trash. Please dispose of
used battery according to your local environmental laws and guidelines.
Use manufacturer approved batteries, chargers, accessories and
supplies. Wynncom will not be held responsible for users safety when using unapproved accessories or supplies.

Limited Warranty Terms and Conditions
Wynncom Digital Devices Pvt. Ltd., (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Company’)
provides this Limited Warranty to the purchaser of the Wynncom mobile handset and original accessories (Battery, Charger, Hands free etc.) supplied in the sales package (hereinafter collectively referred to as the ‘Product’).
Warranty period
Subject to the conditions specified herein, the Company warrants the Product to be free from defects in design, material and workmanship at the time of its original purchase and for a subsequent period of one year for the Transceiver, six months for the Accessories (Charger/ Battery/ Hands free/ Data cable); all periods commencing from the date of purchase.
How to get warranty service
To obtain warranty services, the purchaser needs to bring the Product to the
Companys Authorized Care Centre at his/her own cost, along with the original
proof of purchase, bearing unaltered/ unmodified date of purchase and IMEI number .
The Companys Limited Warranty extends only to the original purchaser/ end
user of the Product, and is not assignable or transferable to a subsequent purchaser/ end user
Provisions and Exclusions
This Limited Warranty does not cover a) normal wear and tear; b) defects caused by improper handling; c) defects or damages caused by misuse of the Product, including use that is contrary to the instructions provided by the Company set out in the Products Users Manual; and/or d) other acts beyond the reasonable control of the Company (including but not limited to Force Majeure, Lightening, Voltage surge, etc.) During the warranty period, the Company or its Authorized Care Centre may repair or replace at its sole discretion, any defective Product(s) or part(s) thereof with new or factory rebuilt/ re-conditioned item(s) and return the Product to the purchaser in working condition. All replaced part(s)/ item(s) shall become the property of the Company. The repaired or replaced part(s) or item(s) shall stand warranted only for the remaining warranty period since the date of purchase. The warranty shall cease to exist in the absence of the original proof of purchase, or in case the original serial number/ IMEI is removed, modified or obliterated, or if the Product is damaged due to liquid spillage, exposure to moisture, exposure to extreme thermal or environmental conditions, or if there is a physical damage to the Product, or if the Product was found tampered/ found opened, modified or repaired by anyone other than the Companys Authorized Care Centre. The warranty terms are subject to change without prior notice. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Company (including its related entities and their respective officers, employees and agents)
excludes all liabilities (including negligence), for any loss of profit, business revenue, goodwill, anticipated savings or data, personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Product. All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts of Delhi only.
