WSE47 SOLAR SWIMMING POOL HEATER INSTRUCTION MANUAL2
INTRODUCTION
The WSE47 is a highly efficient, cost effective, and reliable way of heating your pool using
the power of the sun. The collectors are constructed of corrosion resistant materials,
enabling them to provide many years of reliable operation. Evacuated tubes are designed
to rely on the sun’s radiation for heating rather than ambient temperatures, meaning the
pool can still be heated when the outside temperature is lower than the pool’s
temperature. This is especially beneficial at the beginning and end of the season when
daily air temperatures are cool, resulting in an extended pool use season.
The collectors are designed so that they can be installed either on the ground or on a roof.
The best location to install the collectors is an area that receives the most sunlight per day
and is as close to the pool as possible. We suggest assembling the collector at a maximum
distance of 10 m from the pool at an elevation less than 3 m above the pool.
For optimum performance the collector should be oriented facing true South. If the
collector can not be oriented facing south, the output will be reduced slightly but the
collector will still be able to absorb sunlight due to the cylindrical geometry of the tubes.

FRAME ASSEMBLY
STEP 1:
Place the manifold on a non-scratch surface with the bolts facing up. Remove the
nuts from the bolts in the manifold. Place the U-channel main support rails on the
bolts extending from the manifold using the predrilled holes in the support rails.
The rails should extend in the same direction as the 20 tube holes in the manifold.
Fasten the nuts to secure the rails to the manifold.

STEP 2:
Attach the main cross brace half way down the main support rails using two M8 x
15 mm bolts and nuts.
Attach the front lower support rail at the lowest point on the main support rails with
four M8 x 10 mm bolts. The lower support holds the black base cups, which hold
the bottoms of the evacuated tubes.
