8.6 Instructions for Woodco systems installation
Pipe network Pipe lengths, allowed between the different components of the vacuum unit, are indicative and provisional. To do Woodco systems it is necessary to use strong and long-lasting installation material, available in antistatic zync-coated pipes Ø 50 mm, or PVC installation material. All connections must be watertight, in order to grant the maximum performance . It is better to realize the pipe network in a straight line, because with many direction changes it is necessary to realize a shorter pipe network. Avoid networks with positive or negative traps. For some connections it is possible to use spiral pipe, in antistatic plastic material, with smooth internal walls. Radius of curvature for installation made with fl exible hose cannot be under 30 cm. It is better to reduce to the minimum sections realized in fl exible hose, to optimize installation per- formances. All pipes must be fi xed to walls or strong supports every 150 cm. Horizontal sections
must be made with spirit level, while vertical sections cannot be over 3,5 meters.
In case of connection between rigid steel pipes and fl exible pipes, the spiral inside the fl exible hose must be connected to the steel pipe, to grant antistatic properties. To avoid electrostatic charges, pipe network must be grounded, in accordance with current rules.
Warning We recommend using only original pipes, connections and accessories as they have been realized on this purpose. Before installing and using Woodco system, we recommend to read this manual carefully and, in case of doubts, please contact qualifi ed person.
Construction and installation of systems must be made according to safety rules related to the place they are installed in.
WARNING: the system installation must be
made by qualifi ed personnel only.

11.3 Dust collection, transfer and disposal
Where a separated refuse collection policy is in place, once removed from the vacuum cleaner, the dust collected in dust bins and dust bags must be placed in the green “dry, non-recyclable waste” bins.
11.4 fi lter cartridge maintenance
The fi lter cartridge can be restored as follows:
1A) blowing its surface with compressed air
1B) vacuuming its dirty surface with the vacuum unit, with a clean fi lter previously installed. In
this case, we recommend to shake the dirty fi lter, before vacuuming, to eliminate most of the dusts that deposit between the folds.
N.B. Check the fi lter surface is not cut. If this is the case, the fi lter cartridge should not be used again and should be defi ni- tely replaced.
ATTENTION ALWAYS VERIFY THAT THE FILTER CARTRIDGE HAS BEEN CLOSED CORRECTLY, A WRONG ASSEMBLY COULD DAMAGE THE PRODUCT. DO NOT USE THE VACUUM CLEANER WITHOUT THE FILTER CARTRIDGE. ENSURE YOU HAVE REPLACED A SPARE FILTER CARTRIDGE BEFORE CARRYING OUT THIS OPERATION.
1C) washing it under fl owing water. Also in this case we recommend
to shake the fi lter before washing it in order to eliminate most of the dusts that deposit between its folds.
ATTENTION: before replacing the fi lter cartridge back in the
system after washing, ensure it has completely dried. DO NOT reassemble the fi lter if the surface is still wet or damp.

13 - SOUND EMISSION
A sound level measurement has been gauged by measuring the acoustic pressure and the sound level of the vacuum cleaner. The test report is held at the producer headquarters.
14 - IDEAL LOCATION OF THE VACUUM CLEANER TO REDUCE SOUND
EMISSION
The following suggestions and measures will help reducing the sound emissions of the vacuum cleaner:
• Fix the system to a solid wall (not to a cavity wall), preferably made of solid bricks.
• Avoid fi xing the system to an internal dividing wall, it is better to fi x it to an external perimeter wall.
• You can also use sound-absorbing materials on the two side walls if these are very close to each other; this will interrupt the sound wave and avoid resonance phenomena between the two waves which could refl ect on the two opposite walls.
• You could possibly also soundproof the ceiling.
15 - VIBRATIONS
There is no contact between the hand, arm or body of the operator and the machine when vacuum cleaning using the fl exible hose; for this reason there is no risk related to vibrations.
