1. General

This instruction is related to the following customized Read/Write RFID module.

2.3. Specific operational use conditions

The module is only approved for use by W.O.M. World Of Medicine GmbH in our own products and
not intended for sale to third parties. The RFID module is intended to be used together with the
dedicated antenna TS-AH20 only. Because the module will not be sold separately, all information
about operational use conditions are described in the IFU of the host system.

2.4. Limited module procedures

The module gets a limited approval and will only be used in dedicated host systems which are
approved separately regarding more applicable FCC/IC rules. The selling of the RFID module
separately is not intended.

2.5. Trace antenna designs

Trace antenna design is not applicable for this module.

2.6. RF exposure considerations

The RFID-Module is approved as device type portable in the exposure category general public with a
maximum permissible exposure at 0cm from a person’s body and as device type mobile in the
exposure category general public with a maximum permissible exposure at 20cm from a person’s
body. The host products must contain the previously mentioned information in their end-product
manuals.

2.7. Antennas

The RFID module is intended for use with the dedicated antenna TS-AH20 only. The antenna is
connected via a dedicated SMA connector. TS-AH20 is an Inductive Loop Antenna with a loop area of

0.00032m².

2.8. Label and compliance information

The device label of the host product must be equipped with the sentence

"Contains FCC ID: 2AS5K-TSHW42 / Contains IC: 25004-TSHW42A."

The end-products will contain the following compliance statements either on the product, on the device

or both:

FCC

Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void

the user's authority to operate the equipment.

This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two

conditions:

(1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and

(2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired

operation.

ISED

This device complies with Industry Canada’s licence-exempt RSSs. Operation is subject to the

following two conditions:

(1) This device may not cause interference; and

(2) This device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired

operation of the device.
