Laser 4K D-ILA® Projector
Wolf Cinema’s TXF-5000 “Theater Extreme” 4K D-ILA® Projector
Wolf Cinema proudly presents the reference edition in our Theater Extreme home theater projection series – the TXF-5000. Boasting an all new, 0.69 inch three-chip native 4K [4096 x 2160] D-ILA® technology core, and illuminated by a 20,000-hour life Blu-Escent™ laser diode/phosphor light source, the TXF-5000 is clearly one of the penultimate home theater imaging solutions yet available.
Pushing the boundaries of today’s imaging sciences, the TXF-5000 boasts 3200 ANSI lumens of peak white performance, while dynamic contrast approaches unmeasurable levels [:1] – eminently suitable for very large home theater screens in the 16-18’ [~5 meters] width range. The new all-glass, 18-element precision primary optics package facilitates ample lens shift for installation flexibility – ±100% vertical, ±43% horizontal – while maintaining sharpness and color clarity throughout the available throw distance. Packed with the latest Ultra HD [4K] imaging technologies such as HDR10, Hybrid Log-Gamma for live HDR broadcasts, easily achieving the BT.709 and Digital Cinema Initiative (DCI) color gamut and presenting over 80% of the ultra-wide BT.2020 color space – bottom line, you’ll fall instantly in love with the TXF-5000’s amazingly lifelike imagery, superior color renditions, remarkable black level performance and stunning edge details from all your favorite sources.
Also included is our VariScope™ aspect ratio control technology – the proven lens memory system that facilitates rapid access to ten of your favorite TV and film aspect ratios – ex: 1.78:1,
1.85:1, 2.20:1, 2.35:1, 2.40:1 and so forth – without an external anamorphic lens. Sit back and enjoy that full 2:35:1 CinemaScope® widescreen experience without those unwanted top/bottom “black bars,” when fired onto suitable ultra-wide ‘Scope home theater screens.
The optional ProScaler MK VI [known as the TXF-5000 Ultra 4K ensemble] features dual HDMI 4K60p inputs and outputs - all at 18Gbps throughput – to facilitate connection to both the projector and other AV system components. Advanced processing and signal management ensures the very best picture possible from all your favorite SD, HD and Ultra HD [4K] sources.
