FOOD GRINDER TIPS
GENERAL GRINDING TIPS
For best results, grind meat that is very cold or partially frozen. You can also chill
the grinder parts in the refrigerator or freezer before use to maintain a cold grinding temperature.
Choose a speed between 1 and 4 that allows the meat to be extruded in long
ribbons. If the ribbons start to break, reduce the speed.
For more tender results, some meats can be ground twice.
NOTE: Fatty meats should be ground only once.
When using natural casings, soak them first in cold water for 30 minutes to remove
excess salt. After soaking, rinse the casings several times by running cold water through their entire length. Refer to the instructions that came with the casings for best results.
Care Recommendations
Cleaning the Food Grinder Attachment and Accessories

stuffer tubes, grinding discs, blade, tray, and food pusher.
2. Wash the housing, grinding auger and collar in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry
