Wir gratulieren Ihnen zum Kauf der Kaffeemaschine.
Die Kaffeemaschine darf nur für den vorgesehenen Zweck gemäß dieser Gebrauchs­anweisung verwendet werden. Lesen Sie deshalb die Gebrauchsanweisung vor der
Inbetriebnahme sorgfältig, sie gibt Anweisungen für den Gebrauch, die Reinigung

und die Pflege des Gerätes. Bei Nichtbeachtung übernehmen wir keine Haftung für
eventuelle Schäden. Bewahren Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung sorgfältig auf und geben
Sie diese gemeinsam mit dem Gerät an Nachbenutzer weiter. Beachten Sie auch die
Garantiehinweise am Ende der Gebrauchsanweisung.
Für Glasbruch wird keine Garantie übernommen.

Weitere Sicherheitshinweise

▪ Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Schutzkontaktsteckdose anschlie-

ßen. Zuleitung und Stecker müssen trocken sein.

▪ Die Anschlussleitung nicht über scharfe Kanten ziehen oder einklemmen, nicht

herunterhängen lassen sowie vor Hitze und Öl schützen.
▪ Ein Verlängerungskabel nur in einwandfreiem Zustand einsetzen.
▪ Den Netzstecker nicht an der Leitung oder mit nassen Händen aus der Steckdose

ziehen.
▪ Das Gerät nicht an der Zuleitung tragen.
▪ Den Kaffeeautomaten nicht auf heiße Oberflächen z.B. Herdplatten o.Ä. oder in

der Nähe der offenen Gasflamme abstellen, das Gehäuse könnte dabei anschmel-

zen.
▪ Das Gerät nicht auf wasserempfindliche Oberflächen abstellen. Wasserspritzer

könnten diese beschädigen.
▪ Das Gerät nicht ohne Wasser einschalten. Den Frischwasserbehälter höchstens bis

zur maximal möglichen Tassenanzahl mit kaltem Wasser füllen.
▪ Kein Wasser in das eingeschaltete oder noch heiße Gerät einfüllen. Zuvor den

Kaffeeautomaten ausschalten und 5 Minuten abkühlen lassen.
▪ Vorsicht, das Gerät wird heiß. Verbrühungsgefahr durch austretenden Dampf.

Während des Durchlaufes niemals den Filter heraus schwenken oder den Deckel

öffnen.
▪ Wenn das Gerät längere Zeit nicht benutzt wird, den Netzstecker ziehen.
▪ Das Gerät nicht in Betrieb nehmen bzw. sofort Netzstecker ziehen, wenn:

⋅ Gerät oder Netzkabel beschädigt ist
⋅ der Verdacht auf einen Defekt nach einem Sturz oder Ähnlichem besteht.

In diesen Fällen das Gerät zur Reparatur geben.

Hinweise zur Warmhaltekanne

Die Kanne ist als Servierkanne konzipiert und hält bei maximaler Füllung den Inhalt
am besten warm. Bei Teilfüllungen und Restmengen kann sich die Warmhaltezeit
wesentlich verringern. Am besten ist es, wenn die Kanne vor der Zubereitung mit
heißem Wasser ausgespült wird.
Der Verschluss durch den Durchbrühdeckel ist technisch bedingt nicht 100%ig
dicht, damit er sich auch nachdem Abkühlen des Kaffees noch leicht öffnen lässt.
Den Deckel zum Verschließen nur leicht festdrehen. Die gefüllte Kanne nur aufrecht
stehend benutzen.
Zum Ausgießen den Deckel gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehen, bis dessen Pfeilmarkie­rung über der Schnaupe steht.
Der doppelwandige Edelstahlbehälter ist absolut bruchsicher. Trotzdem sollte er vor
mechanischen Beanspruchungen geschützt werden.
Spülen Sie die Kanne regelmäßig aus. Wenn sich Eisenpartikel aus dem Wasser auf
der Edelstahl-Oberfläche festsetzen, kann es an dieser Stelle zu Lochfraß kommen.
Entfernen Sie diese Ablagerungen deshalb sofort mit einem Edelstahl-Putzmittel.

Inbetriebnahme

Vor der Erstbenutzung und nachdem das Gerät längere Zeit außer Betrieb war,
führen Sie einen Kochvorgang ohne Kaffeemehl durch. Füllen Sie Tank nur bis zur
Markierung für 7 Tassen mit Frischwasser. Spülen Sie anschließend Filter und
Kanne heiß aus.

Aktuelle Uhrzeit einstellen

Nach Anschließen des Netzsteckers an eine Steckdose erscheint im Display „12:00“.
Drücken Sie die Prog-Taste. Im Display erscheint „CLOCK“ und der Doppelpunkt
von „12:00“ blinkt. Sie können nun die aktuelle Uhrzeit durch Drücken der Tasten
h und min einstellen. Sobald „CLOCK“ im Display verschwindet, läuft die Uhr. Eine
Bestätigung ist nicht erforderlich.
Hinweis: Nach einem Stromausfall oder nachdem der Netzstecker gezogen wurde,
muss die Uhrzeit neu eingestellt werden.

Programmieren der Einschaltzeit

Die Einschaltautomatik des Gerätes startet den Brühvorgang selbstständig zur
gewünschten Uhrzeit. Die Einschaltzeit kann bis zu 24 Stunden im Voraus program­miert werden.
Drücken Sie die Prog-Taste zweimal. Im Display erscheint „TIMER“ und der Dop­pelpunkt von „00:00“ blinkt.Sie können nun die Einschaltzeit durch Drücken der
Tasten h und min verändern. Sobald „TIMER“ im Display verschwindet, ist die neue
Einschaltzeit programmiert.
Sie können die Einschaltzeit jederzeit überprüfen, wenn Sie die Prog-Taste zweimal
drücken.
Hinweis: Nach einem Stromausfall oder nachdem der Netzstecker gezogen wurde,
muss die Einschaltzeit neu eingestellt werden.

Kaffeezubereitung

Füllen Sie ausschließlich kaltes Wasser in den Wassertank. Die Wasserstandsanzeige
gilt für die Frischwassermenge, die zum Brühen der gewünschten Tassenzahl à 125
ml Kaffee notwendig ist.
Öffnen Sie zum Einfüllen von Kaffeemehl den Deckel. Setzen Sie einen Papierfilter
der Größe 1 x 4 in den Filter ein, zuvor jedoch den Prägerand umfalten. Der Papier-

filter darf nicht über den Rand des Filters hinausragen, er ist deshalb mit der Hand
leicht anzudrücken.
Füllen Sie die erforderliche Menge Kaffeemehl ein. Pro Tasse rechnet man je nach
persönlichem Geschmack mit ca. 5-7 g mittelfein gemahlenem Kaffee. Ist er zu fein
gemahlen, kann der Filter überlaufen.

Automatisches Einschalten

Soll die Zubereitung zur programmierten Einschaltzeit automatisch starten, drücken
Sie die Prog-Taste dreimal. Die Rechte Kontrollleuchte leuchtet blau.
Die Zubereitung beginnt automatisch zur programmierten Einschaltzeit. Die rechte
Kontrollleuchte erlischt, die linke Kontrollleuchte leuchtet blau.

Sofortstart

Soll der Kaffee sofort zubereitet werden, drücken Sie die Start/Stop-Taste . Die
linke Konrtollleuchte leuchtet blauund die Zubereitung beginnt.
Sie können die Zubereitung jederzeit abbrechen, indem Sie die blau leuchtende
Start/Stop-Taste
Warten Sie bis der Kaffe vollständig in die Kanne gelaufen ist. Nach dem Entnehmen
der Kanne verhindert ein TropfStopp -Ventil, dass Restkaffee auf die Warmhalte­platte tropft.

Nach dem Brühvorgang sorgt eine Abschaltautomatik dafür, dass das Gerät nicht
überhitzt. Erst wenn das Wasser vollständig durchgelaufen ist, schaltet sich das Gerät

Ein vorzeitiges Abschalten ist durch Drücken der EIN/AUS-Taste
könnte erforderlich werden, wenn Sie versehentlich ohne Wasser eingeschaltet

Reinigung

Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker und lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen.
Das Gerät nicht in Wasser tauchen, sondern außen nur mit einem feuchten Tuch,
dem etwas Spülmittel beigegeben wird, abwischen.
Keine scharfen und scheuernden Reinigungsmittel verwenden.
Filter und Thermokanne werden unter fließendem Wasser gereinigt.

Entkalken

Kalkablagerungen führen zu Energieverlusten und beeinträchtigen die Lebensdauer
des Gerätes. Es schaltet vorzeitig ab, wenn die Kalkschicht zu stark ist. Sie ist dann
nur noch sehr schwer zu entfernen. Entkalken Sie deshalb regelmäßig, spätestens
jedoch bei wesentlich verlängerter Brühzeit oder vermehrter Geräuschbildung.
Die folgenden Angaben sind Richtwerte, die sich auf einen täglichen Gebrauch im
Haushalt beziehen.

Den Härtebereich in Ihrer Wohngegend können Sie beim zuständigen Wasserwerk
oder der kommunalen Verwaltung erfragen.
Wir empfehlen die Verwendung von durgol® universal. Dieses ist hochwirksam und
materialschonend ohne zusätzliche Einwirkzeit.

Sie bekommen es dort, wo das Gerät gekauft wurde, im ausgewählten Fachhandel
oder Sie bestellen direkt bei wmf consumer electric.

Um die Entkalkung vorzunehmen, einen Papierfilter einlegen und die Kanne in
die Maschine stellen. 1-2 Tassen durgol® universal in den Wassertank füllen und
mit Leitungswasser bis zur 7-Tassen-Marke auffüllen. Eventuell größere Kalkreste
sammeln sich im Papierfilter und verhindern so ein Verstopfen des Auslaufventils.
Drücken Sie zum Starten der Entkalkung die Start/Stop-Taste
Anschließend zum Spülen eine volle Tankfüllung Leitungswasser durchlaufen lassen.
Keinesfalls Essig oder Essigessenz verwenden, da Materialien im Gerät dadurch
beschädigt werden könnten.
Bei der Verwendung von Entkalkern auf Basis von Zitronensäure könnten sich beim
Entkalken Niederschläge bilden, die den Kalkbelag versiegeln oder die Leitungen im
Gerät verstopfen. Zudem läuft die Entkalkung mit Zitronensäure zu langsam ab –
eine vollständige Entkalkung kann deshalb nicht gewährleistet werden.
Achtung, für Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachtung der Entkalkungsvorschrift entste­hen, besteht kein Garantieanspruch.

Für unsere Geräte übernehmen wir gegenüber dem Endkunden eine 24-monatige
Haltbarkeitsgarantie. Sie beginnt mit dem Kauf des Gerätes durch den Endkunden
und gilt im Gebiet der Bundesrepublik Deutschland.
Ansprüche aus dieser Garantie sind unter Vorlage des Kaufbelegs direkt gegenüber
unserem zentralen Kundendienst geltend zu machen.
Von der Garantie ausgeschlossen sind Schäden durch normalen Verschleiß, unsach­gemäßen Gebrauch, Nichteinhaltung der Entkalkungsanweisung sowie unterbliebene
Pflege.
Der Endkunde besitzt zusätzlich zu den Ansprüchen aus dieser Garantie gesetzliche
Ansprüche wegen Mängeln des Gerätes gegenüber seinem direkten Verkäufer/Händ­ler, die durch diese Garantie nicht eingeschränkt werden.

Additional safety instructions

▪ Only connect the device to properly installed earthed sockets. The wire and plug

must be dry.

▪ Do not pull the connecting cable over sharp edges or clamp it. Do not let it hang

down and protect it from heat and oil.
▪ Only use extension cords that are in perfect condition.
▪ Never disconnect the mains plug from the socket by the cord or with wet hands.
▪ Do not carry the device by the cord.
▪ Do not place the coffee machine on hot surfaces, such as hot plates or similar, or

near open flames. The housing could melt.
▪ Do not place the device on water-sensitive surfaces. Water spray may damage

them.
▪ Do not switch on the device without water. Fill the fresh water tank with cold

water only to the maximum possible number of cups at the most.
▪ Do not put any water in the device if it is switched on or still hot. Prior to filling,

switch the coffee machine off and allow to cool for five minutes.
▪ Caution, the device is hot. Risk of scalding from escaping steam. Never swing the

filter out or open the cap during operation.
▪ If the device will not be used for some time, disconnect the mains plug.
▪ Stop using the appliance and/or connect it from the mains plug immediately if:

⋅ The appliance or mains cable is damaged
⋅ There is any suspicion of a fault after dropping the appliance or similar.

In such cases, send the appliance to be repaired.

▪ Only operate the device under supervision.
▪ Descale the device regularly.
▪ The vacuum jug is not suitable for the microwave.
▪ No liability is assumed for damages in cases of misuse, improper operation, non-

observance of the descaling instructions or unprofessional repairs. Claims under

warranty are likewise excluded in such cases.

Information about the thermos pot

The pot is designed as a serving pot which keeps the contents hot and it works best
when filled to the limit. The heat retention action is greatly reduced when small
amounts are left in the pot or when the pot is only partly filled. It works best if the
pot is rinsed out with hot water before use.
The lid is not fully sealed due to the brew-through design so that it can also be
opened easily when the coffee has cooled down. Do not apply too much force when
screwing on the lid. Keep the pot upright whenever in use.
Turn the lid anticlockwise to open until the arrow on the lid is lined up over the
spout.
The double-thickness stainless steel container is unbreakable. Nevertheless, it should
be treated with care.
Rinse the pot out regularly. Iron particles from the water may cause localised
corrosion on the stainless steel surface. Remove these deposits immediately with a
cleaning agent for stainless steel.

Start-up

Prior to first use and after the unit has not been used for longer periods, perform
a boiling process with fresh water without coffee grounds. Fill the tank with fresh
water only to the mark for 7 cups.
Then rinse the filter and pitcher with hot water.

Set current time

After plugging the plug into an outlet, the display shows “12:00”.
Press the Prog key. The display shows “CLOCK” and the colon of “12:00” is blinking.
You can now set the current time by pressing the h and min keys. When “CLOCK”
disappears from the display, the clock is running. Confirmation is not required.
Note: The time must be reset after a power failure or after the plug was disconnec­ted.

Programming the activation time

The automatic activation of the unit independently starts the brewing process at the
desired time. The activation time can be programmed up to 24 hours in advance.
Press the Prog key twice. The display shows “TIMER” and the colon of “00:00” is
blinking. You can now change the activation time by pressing the h and min keys.
When “TIMER” disappears from the display, the new activation time is programmed.
You can check the activation time at any time by pressing the Prog key twice.
Note: The activation time must be reprogrammed after a power failure or after the
plug was disconnected.

Making coffee

Fill only cold water into the water tank. The water level display applies to the
amount of fresh water which is needed to brew the desired number of cups, each
containing 125 ml.
Open the lid to add coffee grounds. Put a 1 x 4 paper filter into the filter, first
slightly folding the embossed edge over. The paper filter must not protrude beyond
the edge of the filter and should therefore be slightly pressed down by hand.
Add the required amount of coffee grounds. Depending on personal taste, use
approx. 5-7 g of moderately finely ground coffee per cup. The filter may overflow if
it is too finely ground.

Automatic activation

To start brewing automatically at the programmed activation time, press the Prog
key three times. The right indicator light lights up blue.
Brewing starts automatically at the programmed activation time. The right indicator
light goes out; the left indicator light lights up blue.

Immediate start

To start brewing coffee immediately, press the Start/Stop key . The left indicator
light lights up blue, and brewing starts.
You can stop brewing at any time by pressing the blue lit Start/Stop key
Wait until the coffee has completely run into the pitcher. After the pitcher is
removed, a drip stop valve prevents remaining coffee from dripping onto the heating
plate.

Automatic shut-off

After the brewing process, an automatic shut-off function stops the unit from
overheating. The unit only shuts off when the water has completely run through.

The unit can be shut off early by pressing the ON/OFF key . This may be necessary
if you have accidentally turned it on without adding water. It is vital to let the
coffeemaker cool for a few minutes before adding water to the hot unit.

Cleaning

Disconnect the power plug and leave the appliance to cool down.
Never immerse the appliance in water; simply wipe the exterior using a damp cloth
with a drop of washing-up.
Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents.
Clean the filter and thermo pot under running water.

Decalcifying

Limescale and calcium deposits result in a loss of energy and impair the service life
of the appliance. The appliance will switch off prematurely if the deposit is too
excessive. It is then very difficult to remove the deposit. We therefore recommend
you to decalcify the appliance regularly, but at the latest when the brewing time
increases significantly or there is more noise during the brewing process.
The following values are offered for guidance and are based on daily use in a
household.

1° dH corresponds to approximately 0.18 mmol/l Ca and Mg ions

You can ask the responsible waterworks or community administration about how
hard the water is in the region where you live. We recommend using durgol® uni-
versal. It is highly effective and gentle on material with no additional acting time.

You can find it where you purchased the unit, in select specialist trade, or order it
directly from wmf consumer electric.

To remove lime, place a paper filter in the unit and set the pitcher into the unit. Any
more substantial amounts of limescale residue collect on the filter paper and thus
prevent the spout becoming clogged. Pour 1-2 cups of durgol® universal into the
water tank and fill up with tap water to the 7-cup mark. Press the Start/Stop key
to remove lime.
Then rinse by running through a full tank of tap water.
Absolutely do not use vinegar or vinegar essence, since this may damage materials in
the unit.
When using citric acid based lime removers, lime removal may lead to the formation
of deposits which seal the lime coating or plug the lines in the unit. Lime removal
with citric acid is also too slow – complete lime removal can therefore not be
guaranteed.
Attention, there are no guarantee claims for damage caused by non-compliance
with the lime removal instructions.

For UK use only

▪ This product is supplied with a 13 A plug conforming to BS 1363 fitted to the

mains lead. If the plug is unsuitable for your socket outlets or needs to be repla­ced, please note the following. If the plug is a non-rewireable one, cut it from the
mains lead and immediately dispose of it. Never insert it into a socket outlet as
there is a very great risk of an electric shock.

▪ The replacement of the plug at the mains lead has to be done according to the

following instructions:

Consignes de sécurité supplémentaires

▪ Brancher l’appareil uniquement dans une prise électrique sécurisée, installée

conformément aux prescriptions. Le câble d’alimentation et la prise doivent être
secs.

▪ Ne pas tirer le cordon d’alimentation sur des bords tranchants, ne pas le coincer,

ne pas le laisser pendre et le protéger de la chaleur et d’huile.
▪ N’utiliser une rallonge électrique qu’en parfait état.
▪ Ne pas débrancher l’appareil en tirant sur le câble ou avec de mains mouillées.

▪ Ne pas verser de l’eau dans l’appareil tant qu’il est en marche ou tant qu’il est

chaud. Laisser refroidir la cafetière automatique 5 minutes après l’avoir arrêtée.
▪ Attention,l’appareil chauffe. Danger d’ébouillantement par la vapeur qui

s’échappe. Ne jamais faire basculer le porte-filtre ou ouvrir le couvercle durant le

passage de l’eau.
▪ Si l’appareil n’est pas utilisé durant une période prolongée, débrancher la fiche

secteur.
▪ Ne pas mettre l’appareil en marche ou le débrancher immédiatement si :

⋅ l’appareil ou le câble d’alimentation sont endommagés.
⋅ si l’appareil pouvait être endommagé suite à une chute ou équivalent.

Dans ces cas emmener l’appareil en réparation.

▪ Faire fonctionner l’appareil uniquement sous surveillance.
▪ Détartrer l’appareil régulièrement.
▪ La verseuse isotherme n’est pas conçue pour une utilisation au four à micro-

ondes.

Indications concernant la cruche thermos

La cruche est conçue comme cruche de service et maintient le contenu très au chaud
si elle est remplie au maximum. Si elle n‘est remplie que partiellement et en présence
de restes, la durée de maintien au chaud se réduit considérablement. Il est recom­mandé de rincer la cruche à l‘eau bouillante avant la préparation.
La fermeture par le couvercle d‘ébouillantage n‘est pas étanche à 100 % pour des
raisons techniques, afin que l‘on puisse encore aisément l‘ouvrir après le refroidisse­ment du café. Ne visser le couvercle que légèrement lors de la fermeture. N‘utiliser la
cruche remplie qu‘en la plaçant en position verticale.
Pour déverser le café, tourner le couvercle dans le sens contraire aux aiguilles d‘une
montre jusqu‘à ce que son repère à flèche se trouve au-dessus du bec.
Le conteneur en acier inox à double paroi est absolument incassable. Malgré tout, il
faut le protéger contre des sollicitations mécaniques.
Rincez la cruche régulièrement. Si des particules de fer provenant de l‘eau se
déposent sur la surface en acier inox, cela peut provoquer à cet endroit une corrosion
perforante. C‘est pourquoi éliminez immédiatement ces dépôts avec un produit
nettoyant l‘acier inox.

Mise en service

Avant la première utilisation et si l‘appareil est resté hors service pendant longt­emps, effectuez une cuisson sans poudre de café. Remplissez le réservoir jusqu‘au
marquage de 7 tasses d‘eau froide.
Rincez ensuite le filtre et la cafetière encore chaude.

Réglez à l‘heure actuelle

Après avoir branché la fiche dans la prise, la valeur suivante s‘affiche par défaut
«12:00».
Appuyez sur la touche de programmation. L‘écran affiche «CLOCK» et les deux
points de «12:00» clignotent. Vous pouvez alors régler à l‘heure actuelle en appuyant
sur la touche h et min. Dès que «CLOCK» aura disparu de l‘écran, l‘heure sera fixée.
Aucune confirmation n‘est nécessaire.
Instruction: Après une de panne de courant ou que la fiche ait été tirée, il faut à
nouveau régler l‘heure.

Programmation de l‘heure de mise en service

L‘automatisme de mise en service de l‘appareil lance automatiquement l‘opération
d‘infusion à l‘heure voulue. On peut programmer l‘heure de mise en service jusqu‘à
24 heures à l‘avance.
Appuyez sur la touche de programmation deux fois. L‘écran affiche «TIMER» et les
deux points de «00:00» clignotent. Vous pouvez alors modifier l‘heure de mise en
service en appuyant sur les touches h et min. Dès que «TIMER» aura disparu de
l‘écran, la nouvelle heure de mise en service sera programmée.
Vous pouvez vérifier à tout moment l‘heure de mise en service en appuyant sur la

touche de programmation deux fois.
Instruction: Après une panne de courant ou que la fiche ait été tirée, il faut à

nouveau régler l‘heure de mise en service.

Préparation du café

Remplissez exclusivement d‘eau froide le réservoir d‘eau. L‘indicateur de niveau d‘eau
indique la quantité d‘eau froide servant à infuser le nombre de tasses de café voulu
à 125 ml.

Ouvrez le couvercle pour remplir de poudre à café. Insérez un filtre en papier d‘une
dimension 1 x 4 en prenant soin de déplier le bord au préalable. Le filtre en papier ne
doit pas dépasser du bord du filtre si bien qu‘il faut exercer une pression légère de la
main sur celui-ci.
Remplissez de poudre de café en quantité suffisante. Selon les goûts personnels, on
compte environ 5-7 g de café moyennement moulu par tasse. S‘il est moulu trop
finement, il peut traverser le filtre.

Mise en service automatique

Si la préparation doit être lancée automatiquement à l‘heure de mise en service pro­grammée, appuyez sur la touche de programmation trois fois. Le témoin lumineux à
droite prend la couleur bleu.
La préparation commence automatiquement à l‘heure de mise en service program­mée. Le témoin lumineux à droite s‘éteint et le témoin lumineux à gauche s‘allume
en bleu.

Démarrage instantané

Si vous voulez préparer immédiatement le café, appuyez sur la touche Start/Stop .
Le témoin lumineux à gauche s‘allume en bleu et la préparation commence.
Vous pouvez interrompre la préparation à tout moment en appuyant à nouveau sur
la touche Start/Stop
Attendez que le café ait fini de couler dans la cafetière. Après avoir retiré la cafetière,
une soupape anti-gouttes empêche que le café restant ne goutte sur la plaque de
cuisson.

Automatisme de mise en arrêt

Après l‘opération d‘infusion, l‘automatisme de mise en arrêt fait en sorte que
l‘appareil ne surchauffe pas. Dès que l‘eau a fini de couler, l‘appareil s‘arrête automa­tiquement.
On peut préprogrammer l‘arrêt en appuyant sur la touche ON/OFF
nécessaire si l‘on a mis en service l‘appareil sans l‘avoir rempli d‘eau au préalable.
Avant de remplir d‘eau l‘appareil chaud, laissez refroidir le distributeur de café au
moins quelques minutes.

Nettoyage

Retirer la fiche secteur et laisser l‘appareil se refroidir.
Ne pas plonger l‘appareil dans l‘eau mais l‘essuyer uniquement à l‘extérieur avec un
chiffon humide auquel un peu de produit pour la vaisselle a été ajouté.
Ne pas utiliser de produit nettoyant caustique et abrasif.
Le filtre et la cruche thermos seront nettoyés à l‘eau courante.

Détartrer

Les dépôts de tartre entraînent des pertes d’énergie et réduisent la durée de vie de
l’appareil. Il s‘éteint prématurément quand la couche de tartre est trop épaisse. Il sera
alors très difficile de l’éliminer. C‘est pourquoi détartrez régulièrement, mais au plus
tard si la durée d‘ébouillantage dure beaucoup plus longtemps ou si l‘appareil fait
beaucoup de bruit.
Les données suivantes sont des valeurs de référence qui se réfèrent à un emploi
quotidien dans le ménage.

de distribution d‘eau ou à votre collectivité locale.
Nous préconisons l‘utilisation de durgol® universal. Il est très efficace tout en
conservant le matériau sans temps d‘application supplémentaire.

Vous pouvez vous en procurer où vous avez acheté l‘appareil, dans le magasin
de détail de votre choix ou le commander directement auprès de wmf consumer
electric.

Pour éliminer le tartre, insérez un filtre en papier et posez la cafetière dans la
machine. Remplissez le réservoir d‘eau de 1 à 2 tasses de durgol® universal et
ajoutez de l‘eau courante jusqu‘au marquage de 7 tasses. Les éventuels résidus de
tartre plus gros peuvent être récupérés dans le filtre en papier et vous évitez ainsi de
boucher la vanne d‘évacuation. Appuyez sur la touche Start/Stop

pour lancer le
détartrage.
Pour rincer, faites couler de l‘eau courante pour remplir le réservoir.
N‘utilisez en aucun cas du vinaigre ou tout produit à base de vinaigre car les matéri­aux de l‘appareil risquent de s‘endommager.
Si vous utilisez un détartrant à base d‘acide citrique, des dépôts peuvent se former
lors du détartrage qui recouvrent le tartre ou bouchent les canalisations de l‘appareil.
De plus, le tartre ne s‘évacue pas assez rapidement avec l‘acide citrique et un détart­rage complet ne peut pas être assuré.
Attention, en cas de dommages imputables au non-respect des prescriptions de
détartrage, aucune réclamation en garantie ne sera acceptée.
