Smart Oven Safety
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:
n Read all instructions prior to fi rst use.
n Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
plugs, or any parts of the oven in water or other liquid.
n Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used
by or near children.
n Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
n Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or
plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest Authorized Service Facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.
n Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch
hot surfaces.
n Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a
heated oven.
n Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance
containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
n The use of accessory attachments not recommended by
the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
n Use extreme caution when removing broiler pan tray or
disposing of hot grease.
n Oversize foods or metal utensils must not be inserted in
a toaster-oven as they may create a fi re or risk of electric shock.
n A fi re may occur if the toaster-oven is covered or touching
ammable material, including curtains, draperies, walls, and the like, when in operation. Do not store any item on top of the appliance when in operation.
n Always attach plug to appliance fi rst, then plug cord into
the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to “off”, then remove plug from wall outlet.
n Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break
off the pad and touch electrical parts involving a risk of electric shock.
n Extreme caution should be exercised when using
containers constructed of other than metal or glass.
n Do not store any materials, other than manufacturers
recommended accessories, in this oven when not in use.
n Do not place any of the following materials in the oven:
paper, cardboard, plastic, or anything similar.
n Do not cover drip tray or any part of the oven with
metal foil. This will cause overheating of the oven. Foil is permitted in the multipurpose pan to catch grease.

Electrical Requirements
WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Plug into a grounded 3 prong outlet.
Do not remove ground prong.
Do not use an adapter.
Do not use an extension cord.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, fire, or electrical shock.
Observe all governing codes and ordinances. Required:
n A 120 V, 60 Hz, AC-only, 15 or 20 amp electrical supply with a
fuse or circuit breaker
Recommended:
n A time-delay fuse or time-delay circuit breaker
n A separate circuit serving only this smart oven
n A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk
resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
Q
For all cord connected appliances:
The oven must be grounded. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current. The oven is equipped with a cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed and grounded.
WARNING: Improper use of the grounding plug can
result in a risk of electric shock. Consult a qualified electrician or serviceman if the grounding instructions are not completely understood, or if doubt exists as to whether the oven is properly grounded.
Do not use an extension cord. If the power supply cord is too short, have a qualified electrician or serviceman install an outlet near the oven.

This module complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. The Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
1. This device may not cause harmful interference, and
2. This device must accept any interference received, including Interference that may cause undesired operation.
Under FCC regulations, this radio transmitter may only operate using an antenna of a type and maximum (or lesser) gain approved for the transmitter by FCC. To reduce potential radio interference to other users, the antenna type and its gain should be so chosen that the equivalent isotopically radiated power (e.i.r.p.) is not more than that necessary for successful communication. The radio transmitter FCC: A5UEICHRB01 has been approved by FCC to operate with the antenna types listed below with the maximum permissible gain and required antenna impedance for each antenna type indicated. Antenna types not included in this list, having a gain greater than the maximum gain indicated for that type, are strictly prohibited for use with these devices.
One of the below two Antenna confi guration will be used:
