Step 2 Remove protective cover (mudcap) from box.
Step 3 Box is provided with a tunnel feature which allows for pass-
through of wires from one side of the box to the other.
A. Remove end cap and tunnel divider as needed to route wires
from one module to the other. Remove tunnel divider by cutting off dividers at the score line with a hacksaw as shown below.
B. If conduit is to be run in the direction of the long side of the box,
remove tunnel components and mounting bracket. Remove required KOs from box sides and attach conduit fittings (not included) to box.
C. If conduit is to be run in the direction of the short side of the box,
Remove KOs from the back plates of the device modules and attach conduit fittings, (not included) to box.
D. Attach leveling skis to bottom of box using the hex nuts in the
included sub-pack.
E. Re-attach tunnel mounting brackets and protective cover to box.
F. For concrete pours, it is recommended that all seams on outside

Step 6 If the top of the floor box cover is to be flush with
the finished concrete floor, install the concrete/terrazzo ring before the concrete pour. (See installation instructions included with concrete terrazzo ring kit.) If the finished floor surface is to be terrazzo, install the trim ring after the concrete pour.
Step 5 Level box as required and anchor box to decking. To
level use 3/8-16 threaded rod cut to length as needed and secure with hex nuts . (Threaded rod & nuts not included). Holes for threaded rod are provided in each end of the leveling legs attached to the bottom of box. Be sure to set height of the top of the box to be flush with the finished level of the concrete pour.
NOTE: There is no provision for post
pour box height adjustment.
Step 7 Pour concrete flush with the top of floor box
protective cover.
WARNING: Pour concrete to within no more than 1/16"
[1.6mm] above box protective cover. Pours of 1/4" [6.4mm] or more over box cover will make it difficult to break out the cover and cause excessive concrete spalling around the edges of the box.

rotective cover from the box, and install the
p concrete/terrazzo trim ring kit. See instruction sheet included with trim ring kit.
Step 10 Pull wires as specified, and terminate to
appropriate devices (not included).
