W-DMX™ Receiver
A W-Bridge W-DMX system can have at minimum o ne receiver, and up to an unlimited maximum num ber of receivers per universe of DMX. A receiver is required to receive the DMX signa l transmitted wirelessly by the transmitter and outpu t it to any downstrea m fixtures.
W-DMX™ Transceiver
A W-Bridge W-DMX system requires one tran smitter per universe of DMX, to broadcast t he signal to any receiver. The DMX controller will norma lly be plugged straight in t o the transmitter.

LED Status Indicators
The LED statu s indicators on both the transceiver and the receiver uni ts display its current sta tus or mode.Below, each status is described:
1. POWER LED: When lit, the power is connected.
2. DMX LED:
Transceiver Only:
• LED off: The unit is ready for you to choose the mode.
• Flashing ev ery 1.5 seconds: Transmission is off.
• Flash every 1 s econds: Transmitting, but there is no DMX signal.
• Flash every 0 .2 seconds: Searching for a receiver.
• On: Transmit ting a DMX signal.
Receiver On ly:
• Off: Not receiving.
• Flash every 1 s: Receiving, but no DMX signal.
• Flash every 0 .2s: Searching for transceiver.
• On: Receivi ng DMX signal. Receiver
3. MODE LED:
• Off: Wireless Mode 1 (Frequency 1)
• Flash: Wire less Mode 2 (Frequency 2)
• On: Wireles s Mode 3 (Frequency 3)
Setting Up W-BRIDGE Wireless unit
1. One transceiver with multiple receivers:
Power on all units. The DMX LED indicators on all units should be off (if some DMX LED indicator s are on or are flashing, press & hold the <FUNCTION > button until they turn off), th en press the transceivers <FUNCTION > button again. All the receivers should flash quickly, and then all be
matched up co rrectly.
2. Multiple t ransceivers, multiple receivers; e.g. 3 groups cons isting of a transceiv er & receiver(s) named A,B, and C:
1.) Turn power o ff of all units.
2.) Group “A” gets powered on, then follow step 1 above.
3.) Group “B” gets powered on, then follow step 1 above.
4.) Group “C” g ets powered on, then follow step 1 above.

2. Press and ho ld each receiver ’s <FUNC TION> button for 5 seconds. Each receiv er will disconnect from the transmitter, and its DMX LED ind icator then
will be turne d off.
Frequency /Mode Change (Performed only on transceivers)
There are 3 different modes (frequencies) that you can m anually choose from.
They are reco gnizable by the status of the Mode LED:
• Mode 1: OFF
• Mode 2: Blink ing
• Mode 3: ON

the DMX indic ator turns off.
2. Press the <FUNCTION> button to switch between modes.
3. Press and ho ld the <FUNCTION> button for 7 seconds, and the transmitter will
begin trans mitting the DMX signal through the newly set frequency.
Set a Transcei ver to Transmit or Receive
Turn the power off, then turn it back on. Press the <FUNCTION> bu tton for 2
seconds, it w ill switch from a transmitter to receiver or a receiver to transmitter. If during this p rocess you see the DMX indicator change, it is a transmitte r, otherwise it is a receive r.
Point-2-Point Operation
Basic Point -2-point systems are used when you want to send wireless DMX data from a consol e to a single receiver. As the receiver accepts all 512 DMX channels from the tran smitter, you can easily daisy chain more fixtures by cable f rom the fixture con nected to wireless connection.
Multipoint-2-Multipoint Operation
Up to 16 univer ses of DMX can be transmitted simultaneously using a multipoint to multipoin t approach. All receivers in a multipoint system will listen only to the designate d transmitter without any delays or interference from t he systems working alongside.
Need more rec eivers?
Simply add as m any receivers as desired to the transmitter, assigning them with a simple butt on push.
