Safety Information

Before installing and us ing the I DT600, take note of the
following precautions:

 Do not place the unit on an unstable surface, cart or stand;
 Do not block the slots and opening on the unit, which are

provided for ventilation

;

 Do not push objects in the ventilation slots as they may

touch high voltage components and result in shock and
damage to the components;

 Only use the power source indicated on the marking label.

If you are not sure, contact your dealer or the Power
Company;

 The unit uses a three-wire ground cable, which is equipped

with a third pin to ground the unit and prevent electric
shock. Do not defeat the purpose of this pin. If your outlet
does not support this kind of plug, contact your electrician
to replace your obsolete outlet;

 Do not place anything on the power cor d. Place the power

cord where it will not be in the way of food traffic;

 Follow all warnings and cautions in this manual and on the

unit case;

 When replacing parts, ensure that your s

ervice technician

uses parts specified by the manufacturer;

 Avoid using the system near water, in direct sunlight, or

near a heating device;

With this manual, you can operate and maintain the IDT600.

About the Product

IDT600 is an innovation of Intelligent Data Terminal developed by
Wintec. It integrates telephone voice, data processing and
communication functions, supports various means of
communication, such as ADSL, GSM, GPRS, WiFi, PSTN, etc…
and can be customized by third-party software. IDT600 plays an
important role in ndustry marketing information application.
IDT600 can be used for many industrial applications, such as
industrial distribution, retails, concept stores, financial services,
rest

aurants, logistics, etc…
IDT600 is a customerized, easy developing, maintenance and
upgrading POS, its functions can be tailored by different demands,
and highly flexible. Also the SKD provided facilitates the third-party
software developing in a short time.

IDT600Keyboard

Keyboard default define as list:

This is the default define of the keys, including number keys(12keys),
directional keys(5keys), and shortcut keys(4keys) and function
keys(10), including ESC and Enter. You can define the function of the
keys, usually the F5 is FEED for printer. Enter and OK are the same.

note

1.you’ d better only change the define of the keys “ F6-F12”

2.you can define multi keys for the same function

3.you’ d better use “ F1-F4” for menu operation
