MOUNTING LOCATION
Select a location for the wall plate where:
1. You can connect to existing wiring or
you can easily run the wire through the
wall/walls to the wall plate.
2. The location does not interfere with
existing electrical wiring or obstructions
in the wall.

wires to the front and back of the wall

Installing with a Standard Switch Box
Use the two short screws to attach the wall
plate to the electrical switch box.
Installing with mounting brackets
INSTALLATION
Note: To avoid possible damage.
When connecting the speaker wire to the
wall plate terminals do not allow the +
positive & - negative wires or strands to
touch one another when the equipment is
turned on.
Turn all equipment off or unplug while
making connections.
You can mount your Speaker Wall Plate
using a standard electrical switch box or
the supplied mounting brackets.

Installing
Strip the insulation from the ends of the
speaker wire approximately 1/2”, exposing
the bare wires. Twist all the strands of
each wire together and ensure all the wire
strands are secured in the holes of the
terminals avoiding any contact with other
terminals.
1. Turn the wire connectors counterclockwise to access the terminal
holes.
2. Insert the + wires in the red banded
terminals and the – wires in the black
banded terminals.
3. Secure the wire by turning the bands
1. Identify the installation location on
the wall that is clear of obstructions
and any electrical wiring.
2. Draw a rectangle 1 3/4”
wide x 4” long (4.4 cm x
10.2 cm) on the wall.
3. Drill a small hole in a
corner of the rectangle.

4. Use a keyhole or saber
saw to cut out the hole
and run the wiring through the cut out.
5. Follow the installation instructions
for connecting the wires to the wall
plate.
6. Assemble the two mounting brackets
using the supplied screws.
7. Position the brackets in the cut out the
same distance apart to match the
holes in the wall plate.
8. Attach the wall plate to the mounting
brackets using the supplied short
screws.
9. Connect the wires as indicated in the
wiring instructions.
