3.1 About AC Adapter
Our Tablet PC support one set of AC adapter and power code by country area. Please confirm with your dealer for appropriate power code if necessary.
**Caution
1. When you disconnect the AC adapter, disconnect from the
electrical outlet first and then from the tablet PC. A reverse
procedure may damage the AC adapter or tablet PC.
2. Always hold the plug head when you unplug the connector, Never
pull on the cord.
3. The AC adapter is designed for use with your tablet PC only.
Connecting the AC adapter to another device can damage the
adapter.
The adapter operates on any voltage in the range of 100~240 V AC. The AC adapter serves as a converter from AC (Alternating Current) to DC (Direct Current) power because the tablet PC runs on DC power input, but an electrical outlet usually provides AC power. It also charges the battery pack when connected to AC power.

(32 °°°°F). It is also recommended not to charge the battery when temperature is above 45 °°°°C (113 °°°°F)
2. To prevent damage, the charging process may stop and the
Battery Charge Indicator flashes red when the environmental
temperature gets above 55 °°°°C (131°°°°F)
3. The battery level may automatically lessen due to the
self-discharge process (0.21 % per day), even when the battery
pack is fully charged (100 %). This happens no matter if the
battery pack is installed in the tablet PC.

Power-Saving Tips
The following are some Power-Saving Tips suggestions to
maximize the battery’s operating time.
Do not disable Power Management. Decrease the LCD brightness to the lowest comfortable level. Shorten the length of time before Windows turn off the display. USB devices use power just by being connected. If you use a USB
mouse, you can save power by disconnecting the mouse and using the optional touchscreen pen.
If you use a USB flash drive, unplug it when you are not using it. If you work with an application that uses a PC card, exit the
application when you finish using it.
If you have a PC card installed, remove it when not in use. Some PC
cards drain power even while they are inactive.
Deactivate the Wireless LAN function if you are not using it (see
Chapter 2).
Deactivate the Bluetooth wireless feature if you are not using it (see
Chapter 2)
Turn off the tablet PC when you are not using it.

FCC regulatory statements, notices and warning IMPOTANT SAR INFORMATION
Your wireless phone is a radio transmitter and receiver. It is designed and manufactured not to exceed the emission limits for exposure to radiofrequency (RF) energy set by the FCC of USA. These limits are part of comprehensive guidelines and establish permitted levels of RF energy for the general population. The guidelines are based on standards that were developed by independent scientific organizations through periodic and thorough evaluation of scientific studies. The standards include a substantial safety margin designed to assure the safety of all persons, regardless of age and health. The exposure standard for wireless mobile phones employs a unit of measurement known as the Specific Absorption Rate, or SAR. The SAR limit set by the FCC is 1.6 W/kg. * Tests for SAR are conducted with the phone transmitting at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency bands. Although the SAR is determined at the highest certified power level, the actual SAR level of the phone while operating can be well below the maximum value. This is because the phone is designed to operate at multiple power levels so as to use only the power required to reach the network. In general, the closer you are to a wireless base station antenna, the lower the power output. Before a phone model is available for sale to the public, it must be tested and certified to the FCC that it does not exceed the limit established by the government adopted requirement for safe exposure. The tests are performed in positions and locations (e.g., at the ear and worn on the body) as required by the FCC for each model. The highest SAR value for this model phone when worn on the body, as described in this user guide, is 0.529 W/Kg. (Body-worn measurements differ among phone models, depending upon available accessories and FCC requirements). While there may be differences between the SAR levels of various phones and at various positions, they all meet the government requirement for safe exposure.
* In the United States and Canada, the SAR limit for mobile phones used by the public is 1.6 watts/kg (W/kg) averaged over one gram of tissue. The standard incorporates a substantial margin of safety to give additional protection for the public and to account for any variations in measurements.
Use only the supplied or an approved antenna. Unauthorized antennas, modifications, or attachments could impair call quality, damage the phone, or result in violation of FCC regulations. Do not use the phone with a damaged antenna. If a damaged antenna comes into contact with the skin, a minor burn may result. Please contact your local dealer for replacement antenna.
This transmitter must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.
FCC Part 15 Notice

However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation.
If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try and correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
. Relocate this device . Increase the separation between the device and the receiver . Connect the device into an outlet on a circuit different from that of other electronics.
Consult the dealer or an experienced radio technician for help.
FCC Radiation Exposure Statement
Important Note: To comply with FCC RF exposure compliance requirement, the antenna used for this transmitter must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other transmitter. Caution: Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate this equipment.
