1. Overview
Brief description
The key is suitable for use in fire brigade safes and their ambient conditions. It locks blueSmart components (double knob cylin
­ders type 6x excepted) with a functional battery just like any oth­er standard user key. If applied for passive cylinders or cylinders containing a low battery, it is necessary to press its button before the locking transaction takes place.
Included in delivery
The scope of delivery includes the RhinoKey with an integrated energy supply which cannot be replaced.

2.1 Symbols in these instructions

2.2 Intended use
The blueSmart Rhino is intended for use exclusively as a user or programming key in combination with a Winkhaus locking system for commercial use. Following all of the instructions in this manual is also part of intended use. Any use other than the intended use constitutes misuse. The key is designed for an operating life of up to five years with up to 800 actuations.

Danger if misused!
Misuse of the blueSmart Rhino can cause the
key not to work as a user key any longer in
emergencies:
- Never place in fire

Do not close electronic keys forcefully
- Operating temperature -25°C to +55°C
- Storage temperature -25°C to +70°C
- The key must be removed and replaced by
another if it was exposed to temperatures
exceeding 70°C.
- After expiry of the attached date (in format
mm/yyyy) the key must be removed and
replaced by a new key.
