The HOW TO USE THIS MANUAL section will tell you how to find important information for ordering correct repair parts.
Parts may be ordered from authorized dealers. When placing an order for parts, the machine model and machine serial number are important. Refer to the MACHINE DATA box which is filled out during the installation of your machine. The MACHINE DATA box is located on the inside of the front cover of this manual.
The model and serial number of your machine is located on the bottom back-end of the machine.
The SAFETY section contains important information regarding hazardous or unsafe practices of the machine. Levels of hazards are identified that could result in product damage, personal injury, or severe injury resulting in death.
The OPERATIONS section is to familiarize the operator with the operation and function of the machine.
The MAINTENANCE section contains preventive maintenance to keep the machine and its components in good working condition.
The PARTS LIST section contains assembled parts illustrations and corresponding parts list. The parts lists include a number of columns of information:
- REF – column refers to the reference number on the parts illustration.
- PART NO. – column lists the part number for the part.
- PRV NO. - reference number.
- QTY – column lists the quantity of the
part used in that area of the machine.
- DESCRIPTION – column is a brief description of the part.
- SERIAL NO. FROM – If this column has an (*) and a Reference number, see the SERIAL NUMBERS page in the back of your manual. If column has two asterisk (**), call manufacturer for serial number. The serial number indicates the first machine the part number is applicable to. The main illustration shows the most current design of the machine. When a boxed illustration is shown, it displays the older design.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using an electrical appliance, basic precaution
must always be followed, including the following:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS MACHINE.
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury:
Do not leave the appliance when plugged in. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before servicing.
Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer's recommended attachments.
Do not use with damaged cord or plug. If appliance is not working as it should, had been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return to an authorized service center.
Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord for handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce airflow.
Do not operate without dust bag and filter in place.
Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
Turn off all controls before unplugging.
Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas where the may be present.
Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes. This machine is not suitable for picking up hazardous dust. Maintenance and repairs must be done by qualified personnel.
Connect to a properly grounded outlet. See grounding instructions.

Pour réduire les risques d’incendie, de chocs électriques, ou de blessures :
Ne laissez pas l'appareil sans surveillance lorsqu'il est branché. Débranchez l'appareil lorsqu'il n'est pas utilisé et avant tout entretien.
Ne l'utilisez pas à l'extérieur ou sur des surfaces mouillées.
Ne pas permettre aux enfants dejouer avec l’appareil. Durant la manoeuvre de la machine, prendre garde aux personnes environnantes et notamment aux enfants.
N’utiliser cette machine que comme décrit dans le présent manuel. N’utiliser que les accessoires conseillés par le fabricant.
Ne pas utiliser si le cordon ou la fiche est endommagé. Lorsque la machine ne fonctionnant pas correctement, a fait l’objet d’une chute ou d’une détérioration, a été laissée à l’extérieur, est tombée dans l’eau, la retourner au centre de service agréé

Ne pas tirer soulever ou traîner l’appareil par le cordon. Ne pas utiliser le cordon comme une poignée, le coincer dans l’embrasure d’unée porte ou l’appuyer contre des arêtes vives ou des coins. Garder le cordon à l’écart des surfaces chaudes.
Ne pas débrancher en tirant sur le cordon. Tirer plutôt la fiche.
Ne mettez aucun objet dans les ouvertures. Ne l’utilisez pas avec une ouverture bloquée ; maintenez-le à l’écart de la poussière, des peluches, des cheveux, et de tout ce qui pourrait réduire le débit.
Ne pas utiliser sans sac à poussière et filtre en place.
Gardez les cheveux, les vêtements amples, les doigts et toutes les parties du corps à l’écart des ouvertures et des pièces mobiles.
Arrêtez toutes les commandes avant le débranchement.
Soyez très prudent lors du nettoyage des escaliers.
Ne l’utilisez pas pour ramasser des liquides inflammables ou combustibles, tels que l'essence ; ne l’utilisez pas dans les zones où ceux-ci peuvent être présents.
Ne pas ramasser quelque chose qui brûle ou fume, comme des cigarettes, des allumettes ou des cendres chaudes.
Cet appareil n'est pas conçu pour aspirer des poussières dangereuses.
L’entretien et les réparations de la machine doivent être effectuées par un personnel qualifié.
Cet appareil ne doit être connecter qu a des prises ayant une sortie de terre. Se reporter aux instructions de mise à la terre.
