Introduction
The new BEETLE/ iScale TOP is an extension of the BEETLE /M POS
System. This new construction allows the use of an additional Scale
Controller so that a scale can be connected to this controller.
The controller processes all scale informations, from tare default to zero
position.
The internal connection between controller and multiplexer card VGA/4MUX allows the results of the scale calculations (weigh data) to be
displayed on the customer/ cashier display BA69W.
The BA69W tare and zero pushbuttons have to be connected to the
LCD2 plug of the multiplexer card.
An external connection between the scale contoller’s COM interface and
a COM interface of the motherboard provides the weigh data of the
application software, e.g for the print of the sales slip.
The weighing module at the rear side of the BEETLE is protected by a
calibration seal, thus avoiding manipulations.
Operating the weighing module without a seal is not allowed!
