Congratulations on the purchase of your WINCO machine. Please take the time to carefully read through this manual to ensure the machine is
operated and maintained properly, to ensure the best possible performance from this product for many years.
WINCO will not accept liability if:
• The instructions in this manual have not been followed correctly.
• Non-authorized personnel have tampered with the machine.
• Non-original spare parts are used.
• The machine has not been handled and cleaned correctly.

Should you nd any damage as result of freight, please contact your
WINCO dealer immediately.
Unpacking the Equipment
DISPOSE OF ALL PACKAGING MATERIALS IN AN
ENVIRONMENTALLY RESPONSIBLE MANNER.
1. Remove all packing materials and tape, as well as any protective
plastic and cardboard, from the unit.
2. Clean any glue residue left over from the plastic or tape.
3. Place the unit in the desired position and height.
SAVE THE ORIGINAL BOX AND PACKAGING FOR USE IN
PACKAGING AND SHIPPING THE EQUIPMENT IF SERVICES
ARENEEDED.
Function and Purpose
This unit is intended to be used for cooking food in commercial food-service operations only. It is not intended for household, industrial or
laboratory use.
NOTE
Please remember that this manual and the warning labels do not replace the need to be alert, to properly train
and supervise operators, and to use common sense when using this equipment.

supervised there is a possibility of serious injury.
Owners of this equipment bear the responsibility
to make certain that this equipment is used
properly and safely, and to strictly follow all of
the instructions contained in this manual and the
requirements of local, state or federal law.
Owners should not permit anyone to touch this
equipment unless they are over 18 years old, are
adequately trained and supervised, and have read
and understood this manual.
Owners should also ensure that no customers,
visitors or other unauthorized personnel come in
contact with this equipment. It is the responsibility
of the owner and the operator to remain alert to any
hazards posed by the function of this equipment.
If there is ever uncertainty about a particular task or
the proper method of operating this equipment, ask
an experienced supervisor.
Warnings
This manual contains a number of precautions to
follow to promote safety while using this equipment.
Before using this equipment it must be cleaned and
dried thoroughly. Clean all surfaces before use.
Failure to clean surfaces before using the unit could
cause food contamination.
Turn o and remove the gas canister from the unit and allow all
surfaces to cool prior to cleaning and storing. Wipe with a damp cloth
with cleanser, dry with a dry cloth.
Avoid using harsh or abrasive chemicals, metal tools or scouring agents
as they may cause damage to the appliance or scratch the surfaces.
Never immerse the appliance in water.
Store the gas canister separately from the appliance and it should be
kept in a cool, dry place when not in use.
NOTE:
Proper cleaning instructions must be followed;
otherwise, operation of the unit may be seriously
impaired. Do not wash parts in an automatic
dishwasher.
Keep the appliance and gas canister away from children.

DANGER : CARBON MONOXIDE HAZARD
This appliance can produce carbon monoxide which is a colorless and odorless, potentially deadly gas. DO NOT
Operate this appliance in an enclosed space or poorly ventilated space.
Caution Before Using Appliance
1. Read All instructions carefully
2. Inspect the product carefully upon unpacking. Should any
part of the gas line or gas can be damaged, please notify the
vendor and replace before use. Do not operate with damaged
components. A factory authorized service provider should
handle all maintenance and repair.
3. Do not touch hot surfaces, particularly ones marked “CAUTION:
HOT.” ALWAYS use caution when moving or operating the unit if
its containers are holding hot liquid.
4. To protect against re, do not place unit on combustible surface,
and do not place ammable materials close to the burner.
5. Do not attempt to disassemble the gas stove; this will void the
warranty.
6. Always unlatch the gas can when not in use and turn gas dial to
o.
7. Remove gas can and allow to cool before cleaning.
8. When using the product indoors, provide proper ventilation to
avoid Carbon Monoxide build up.
9. Do not heat empty containers on this unit.
Operation
10. Place the unit on a at, stable surface. Do not place in, on, or
near a hot burner, stove, oven, or any surface that can reach
exceedingly hot temperatures.
11. Individuals unfamiliar with or unqualied to operate this
machine, such as children, should not operate it without close
and proper supervision.
12. Proper cleaning and care of the unit are necessary for the
longevity and durability of the machine. Should proper
procedures not be undertaken, it may void the warranty.
13. Improper use, handling, or adherence to these instructions or
common sense may result in scalding or other injury.
14. When in use, the unit shall have a clearance of 8 inches from any
side, and at least 5 feet from the top to any ceiling or covering.
15. Pots/pans shall be a minimum of 6 inches in diameter to be used
on this unit.
16. For use with butane gas canisters, Types 2P or 2Q, which have
been approved by the D.O.T.
17. Butane canisters are not reusable. Do Not try to rell them.
Read the gas canisters caution labels before use.
1. Prior to rst use, carefully unpack the gas stove and inspect it
for damage.
2. Place on a level surface away from any other heated surfaces.
3. Flip the burner drip pan so the legs will support a pot/pan
above the burner.
4. Open the gas compartment lid and place a butane can with
the notch of the upper rim facing up. This notch will t into
the spring loaded latch to keep it in place.
5. Press the lock lever down until it locks in place. If the lock
lever will not press down, the gas canister is either installed
wrong or the gas dial is not in the OFF position.

6. If you smell gas or hear leaking gas, do not attempt to light the
stove and remove the gas can.
7. Turn the gas dial switch to max and beyond until the dial ‘clicks’
to activate the electric igniter. If the igniter does not light the
gas after several attempts, the igniter may be broken or the
gas is empty. Turn o immediately to avoid the possibility of
releasing excess gas.
8. Ensure to turn the gas dial to “OFF” and the lock lever is in the
upward ‘Release’ position when the unit is not in use.

Service and Repair
A WINCO Approved Service Technician should carry out repairs if necessary.
Do not remove any components or service panels on this product.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a WINCO
Approved Service Technician in order to avoid a hazard.
There are no user serviceable parts within this appliance.
To avoid serious injury or damage, NEVER attempt to repair the unit
yourself.

If your WINCO Portable Gas Stove does not operate, please check the following prior to placing a service call.

WINCO warrants to the original purchaser of new equipment that said
equipment, when installed in accordance with our instructions within
North America and subjected to normal use, is free from defects in

one year from original installation or 18 months from actual factory
shipment date, whichever date occurs rst.
THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES,
WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. WINCO EXPRESSLY
DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY
OR EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
WINCO’S OBLIGATION AND LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY
IS EXPRESSLY LIMITED TO REPAIRING AND REPLACING
EQUIPMENT THAT PROVES TO BE DEFECTIVE IN MATERIAL OR
WORKMANSHIP WITHIN THE APPLICABLE WARRANTY PERIOD.
IN NO EVENT SHALL WINCO BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES TO BUYER OR ANY THIRD PARTY,
INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROPERTY,
PERSONAL INJURY, LOSS OF BUSINESS OR PROFITS OR OTHER
ECONOMIC LOSSES, OR STATUTORY OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES,
WHETHER IN NEGLIGENCE, WARRANTY, STRICT LIABILITY, OR
OTHERWISE.
This warranty is given only to the rst purchaser from a retail dealer.
No warranty is given to subsequent transferees.
Warranty does not cover product failures caused by: failure to
maintain, neglect, abuse, damage due to excess water, re, normal
wear, improper set up and use. Periodic maintenance is not covered.

7. Expendable wear parts, adjustable feet, blown fuses, lamps, etc.
8. Cleaning of equipment.
9. Misuse or abuse.
WARRANTY REGISTRATION
This warranty is not in force until such time as a properly completed
and digitally signed Installation/Warranty Registration has been
received by WINCO within 30 days from the date of installation.
