Introduction
Thank you for purchasing this quality product. To minimize the risk of injury by means of fire or electric shock we urge that our clients take some basic safety precautions when using this device. Please read the operation instructions carefully and make sure you have understood its content. Always use a grounded power connection with the appropriate mains voltage. You can find the corresponding mains voltage on the type plate. If you have any doubts about the connection being grounded, have it checked by a qualified professional. Never use a faulty electric cable. Do not inspect the electrical part of the pressure pond filter in a wet or damp environment or when you are wet yourself and protect it from direct sunlight. Install this device in a safe location so that nobody can step on the cable, fall over or damage it. Make sure additionally you provide sufficient cooling through the ambient air and avoid heat accumulation. Disconnect the power plug before cleaning it and use only a damp cloth for cleaning. The electric part of the device contains no parts that can be inspected or serviced by the user. Leave the maintenance, adjustment and repair to qualified technical personnel. In case of unauthorised intervention the 2-year warranty is no longer valid! Keep these operation instructions safe.

• If the cable or the plug is damaged due to external influences the cable must not be repaired! It
has to be replaced with a new one. This work can be carried out only by an electrician.
• The voltage indicated on the type plate of the device of 230 Volt alternating voltage has to correspond to the existent mains voltage.
• Never lift, carry or fixate the device by using the power cable.
• Make sure that the electrical plug connection is placed in a flood-proof area and is protected
from moisture.
• The user is responsible for the compliance with location specific safety and installing regula- tions. (Ask an electrician).

Functional description for the general operation of the pump control:
The pump control consists of a pressure switch and a water flow switch. The switching cycles are then determined from the two switching states of the pressure switch and the water flow switch.
1. Water pressure switch actuated + Water flow switch unactuated = Normal shutdown (delay of approx. 3-8 sec. To shutdown).
2. Water pressure switch unactuated + Water flow switch actuated = Pump on
3. Water pressure switch unactuated + Water flow switch not actuated = Switch-off due to drying and indication for fault. (Delay 8-15 seconds) Common causes of malfunctions:
1 Problem:
The pump control switches off and displays failure / failure even though water has previously been pumped successfully. After a reset, this error reappears immediately or after a short time. Possible causes: A: The water pressure of the pump used is not sufficient to actuate the water pressure switch. (Causes may be a clogging, a worn pump body, or a too weak pump) B: The water pressure switch in the pump control is blocked / blocked. (Cleaning with clean water can solve the problem or the housing of the pressure switch in the pump control must be cleaned, and sand and other sediments may have deposited here.)
2. Problem:
The pump control permanently activates the pump regardless of whether the tap is open or closed. Possible causes: A: The installation of the pump control has not been considered. This does not reset the water flow switch and is permanently actuated. (Check the installation and correct if necessary. B: Water flow switch in the pump control input is permanently actuated. This can be caused by contamination, calcification or a foreign body. (An optical test confirms this problem and can be cleansed by cleaning.)

If the water head between the pump and the highest point of the water pipe exceeds 15 meter, the device cannot be installed directly to the pump. The unit must be brought (mounted) at such a height, so that the protruding water pipe is shorter than 15m. For example: if the water pipe is 20m long, the device must be mounted at least 5 m higher above the pump.
The pump control is equipped with a test valve, to protect the pipe system
against pressure loss
Between the pump and the pump control no taps are allowed.
Pump pressure
The device is set at a prepressure of 1,5 bar. The pump pre-pressure must be normally 0,5 bar higher than the cut-in pressure, so it must reach at least 2 bar.
Before starting the device check the suction hose and the pump filling! Pumpenfüllung

We recommend the user to connect the pump control with the water pipe supply, through a flexible hose.
The safety valve to prevent water leaking in case the membrane breaks or bursts (do not change or modify)
The pump control has to be oriented upwards according to the arrow.
The device can be installed directly to the pump or between the pump and the first tap.
