WaveCAST WF T5
WaveCAST is a Wi-Fi platform designed for pro-audio applications where high-quality sound is required for streaming
audio in real-time to smartphones and tablets. It is built on a hardware-based DSP audio system architecture, allowing
system optimization to achieve the highest quality experience for the particular audio stream being delivered. Hearing
assistance can be optimized for hearing loss, music can be optimized for high-delity playback, and voice can be set
for maximum speech intelligibility. Custom presets can also be established for specic performance applications.
Professional audio inputs on the WaveCAST include 1/4” / XLR, phantom power and a line level output jack. In
addition to multi-stage gain control inputs, the DSP features include AGC, limiters, high and low pass lter, and
adjustable range compressor control. The 16-bit DAC provides a 48Khz sample rate for a smooth digital stream and
minimizes digital harshness. WaveCAST supports both unicast and multicast network congurations. Up to four
WaveCAST systems can be connected to the same Wi-Fi network to provide multiple listening channels -- supporting
up to 45 users in unicast mode or up to 1,500+ users in multicast mode.
The free WaveCAST listening app provides an easy-to-use, intuitive user interface and is available in iOS or Android.
Listeners easily select channel and volume level once their personal device is connected to the Wi-Fi network.
WaveCAST Dante WF T5 D
WaveCAST Dante is the rst Wi-Fi assistive listening system with Dante control. The WaveCAST Dante interface is
based on the Audinate UXT Ultimo chipset. This chipset supports both AES67 and SMPTE 2110.
Ideal for use in: performance venues, houses of worship, public transportation terminals, education, gaming and
tness centers

Williams Sound is ready to revolutionize the world of assistive listening with the introduction of FM+ -- the industry’s
rst dual-transmission system able to broadcast both FM and Wi-Fi audio from a single device.
Often, the integrator’s most dicult choice when designing an assistive listening system is deciding between an FM or Wi-Fi
solution for their customer. With FM+, the customer gets both for little more than the cost of an FM-only solution.
The FM+ integrates the new WaveCAST Wi-Fi audio server technology into a Williams Sound FM assistive listening
system. End users can now listen with either an FM receiver or with their own smartphone or tablet (via the free
WaveCAST Listening app). With this exibility comes exceptional audio quality, as the FM+ is built on a professional
digital audio (DSP) platform. Added plus: Its optional Dante interface provides integrators with a full digital audio
networking solution.
FM+ is designed for those who want to use their own smartphones and headphones for a more discreet assistive
listening experience. Simplicity is also available for those who want a more traditional assistive listening system with
a dedicated FM receiver and headset. FM+ supports both the new iOS and Android WaveCAST listening apps -- in
addition to all current and legacy Williams Sound FM receivers operating on the 72-76 MHz bandwidth.
FM+ Dante FM T55 D
FM+ Dante is the rst FM / Wi-Fi assistive listening system with Dante control. The FM+ Dante interface provides
