Battery Safety Information

• R equires two (2) 9- Volt (6LR 61) batteries (not included).

Attention Adults – To Replace Batteries

1. S py B ug requires two (2) 9-Volt (6L R 61) batteries (not included). O ne
battery is for the Bug Unit and one battery is for the Receiver Unit.

2. Locate the battery compartment on the bas e of ea ch unit. Us e a
small P hillips head s crewdriver to loos en the screw, and remove the
battery cover.

3. R emove exhaus ted batteries.

4. Plac e new ba tteries in the c ompartments as shown (figs. 1 & 2).

5. R eplace the battery covers and tighten the screws .

Attention Adults – To Assemble the Spy Bug for First Time
Use.

1. Insert the Hinge on the bottom of the Sonic Dish into the hole at the
rear of the Bug Unit Base (fig. 3).

2. Make s ure that the Two Wires are inserted fully into the hole.

3. Push down on the S onic Dis h until the hinge click s into place.

To Set the Spy Bug

1. Plac e the Bug Unit in the room where you would like to listen.

2. Pres s the Activation Button. The Sonic Dish will open (fig. 4).

3. Extend the Antenna until it holds in place.

4. Move up to 75ft awa y from the S py B ug.

5. Turn the Receiver Unit to ON and s et the volume to a low level.

6. Plac e the Ear Bud in your ear.

7. Increas e the volume until you c an hear clearly.

To Retrieve the Spy Bug

1. Push the Antenna down until it c licks into plac e.

2. C los e the Sonic Dish to s top transmitting.
