How to Operate your Chair
Note: The chair is delivered in the sitting
position. It is supplied with a fused 13 amp
plug, which must be connected to an
approved electrical socket.

(The numbers below correspond to the
buttons on the handset)
Moves the footboard to a raised

chair the seat angle remains constant.
Returns chair to seated position when
chair has been in rise position (Pic B)
Returns the footboard to a closed

position. Keeping this button pressed
will move the chair into a rise position
Reclines the back

Three motor handset

Warranty
Wilcare chairs carry a 1, 2 or 5 year warranty
on mechanisms and wooden frames and
one year on all fabrics, subject to the terms
and conditions of trading of Wilcare. The
warranty remains with the original purchaser.
Mechanical Safety
Sub-frames are of metal heavy duty
construction. These have been tested and
rated for a maximum user weight of 120kg for
three-way and 160kg for tilt-in-space options
Electrical Safety
The length of warranty for your chair model is
shown on the enclosed warranty card. If you
have not received a warranty card please
contact your dealer or Wilcare direct.
Cleaning
This will vary dependent on the type of fabric
used. In general we recommend the wipe
and dry technique using a damp cloth.

Fire Retardancy
Our fabrics as a minimum meet the
Requirements of BS5852 Part 1 Ignition Source
0 (Cigarette) Ignition Source 1 (Match) as
laid out in the FURNITURE & FURNISHINGS
(FIRE) (SAFETY) REGULATIONS 1988. Wilcare
uses combustion modied foam 35/40 kg m3.
Your chair employs a low voltage system
consisting of a 240v to controller/transformer
and 24v feed from the controller to motor/
actuator, on hand control.

While Under Warranty
Repairs must be carried out by an approved
Wilcare service engineer, also recommended
for any repairs outside warranty.
Modications are not permitted without prior
written consent from Wilcare; and such non-
approved modications may invalidate your
warranty.
