Quick Start Guide
Thank you for purchasing a WiebeTech Combo Adapter. Follow these easy steps to quickly acce ss your
drive. (For more details, see the full user’s manual on the CD.)
1. Select the Combo Adapter you want to use with a ComboDock, Forensic ComboDock, or FastBloc2 Field
Edition. Attach the dock’s 4-wire power connector to the Adapter, and then connect the dock’s IDE ribbon
cable to the Adapter’s IDE pins.
2. Connect the drive to the Adapter.
3. Plug the AC adapter into the dock.
4. Connect the FireWire or USB2 cable to the computer, and then to the dock.
5. Turn on the dock’s power switch. The drive in the Adapter will spin up and you will be able to access it.
