Before Operating Your Dryer
Read your dryer Owner's Guide. It has important
safety and warranty information. It also has many
suggestions for best drying results.
To reduce the risk of fire, electric
shock, or injury to persons, read the IMPORTANT
SAFETYINSTRUCTIONSin your dryer owner's guide
before operating this appliance.
Operating Steps
Read Drying Procedures in your Owner's Guide. It
explains these operating steps in detail.
1. Prepare items for drying.
2. Check that lint screen is clean and in place.
3, Load the dryer. If desired, add a dryer fabric
softener sheet.
4. Close the dryer door.

6. Turn cycle selector clockwise to desired
setting.
7, Start dryer, Pushthe Start button and hold for 1-
2 seconds,orturn the Turn to Startcontrol clockwise
to ON. Hold for 1-2 seconds and release.
8. A signal will sound when the cycle ends.
9. Remove items immediately and hang orfold.
10. Clean lint screen after every load.

TheREGULAR-CalorAIto (High Heat), PLANCHADO
PERMANENTE-Calor Mealie (Perm Press - Medium
Heat), and DELICADO-Calor Bajo (Delicates-Low
Heat) temperature settings may be usedwith any cycle
setting. The S61o Aire-Sin Calor (Air Fluff-No Heat)
setting can be used only in the Timed Dry cycle.
SoloAire-Sin Calor(AirFluff-No Heat) settingtumbles
the load without heat. Use$61oAire to freshen clothing,
pillows or blankets, or to dust draperies.
Cycle Selection
Turn cycle selector clockwise to desired cycle and
setting.
Each cycle ends with a cool down period. The heat
automatically turns off and the load continues to tumble
for 5-10 minutes. This reduces wrinkling and makes
items easierto handle during unloading.

Cycle Selection (cont.)
Drying time variesdepending on sizeand dampness of
load, weight and fabric type. Room temperature and
humidity, type of installation and electrical voltage or
gas pressure can also affect drying time.
Autosecado Planchado Permanente
(Automatic Perm Press) Cycle
Thiscycle isbestfor permanent press, knit and delicate
items. Drying time isdetermined automatically at the
temperature selection of your choice.
• Calor Medio (Medium heat)is suggested for
permanent pressitems.
• Calor Bale (Low heat) is suggested for knit and
delicate items.
If the dried load cannot beremoved promptly, the cycle
selector will advance to the Para Desarrugar(Wrinkle
Rid)setting where unheated tumbling continues for 30
minutes to help reduce wrinkling.
The Cycle Signal will sound briefly every 5 minutes as
a reminder to remove the load.
Autosecado (Automatic) Regular Cycle
This cycle isbest for cotton items that can be tumble
dried.
Drying time is determined automatically at the
temperature selection of your choice. Thiscycle isbest
for items of similar fabric, weight and construction.
• For items requiring more drying time, set cycle
selector on MAS SECO(More Dry).
• For items requiring less drying time, set cycle
selector on MENOS SECO(LessDry).
Tiempo de Secado (Timed Dry) Cycle
This cycle provides up to 70 minutes of drying time at
the temperature selection of your choice.
Energy Saving Tips
• Keep the lint screen clean and exhaust the dryer
correctly.
• Sort laundry properly and select proper temperature
and cycle settings. Choose an automatic dry cycle
whenever possible for accurate drying time.
• Dry only full loads. Single items and small loads
usually take longer to dry.
• Avoid overloading, adding wet itemsto apartially dry
load, and overdrying.
• Dry one load after another to take advantage of a
warm dryer.
• Opening the door needlessly causes warm air to
escape,which prolongs drying time.
• If possible, use the dryer on low humidity days.
• Installthe dryerinan areawhere the room temperatu re
is at least 45% (7°C).

Pasos de Funcionamiento

los pasos de funcionamiento en m_fs detalle.
1. Prepare la ropa para el secado.
2. Controle que el fi/tro de pelusa este fimpio
yen su lugar.

4. Cierre la puerta de la secadora.
5. Seleccione la control de temperatura.
6. Gire el selector de ride en el sentido de
las agujas del reloj hasta Ilegar a la
posicion deseada.
7.
Arranque/a secadora. Oprima el boton
PUSHTO START (arranque) por 2 segundos,
6 gire la perilla de TURN TO START (Gire
para poner en marcha) en el sentido de las
agujas del reloj hosta la posici0n de
encendido (ON). Mantenga durante 1 6 2
segundos y suelte.
& Una se_al se escuchar& cuando el cido
haya terminado.
9. Quite las prendas inmediatamente y
cuelguelas o doblelas.

Seleccion de Temperatura
Siempre observe/as indicaciones en /a etiqueta
de cada prenda.
Para evitar peligro de incendio,
no use calor para secar articulos que contienen
plumas o plumon, espuma de goma, pDstico, o con
textura semejante, materiales pareddos a la goma.
Use el ajuste 561o Aire sin calor solamente.
Las temperaturas REGULAR-CALOR ALTO,
PLANCHADO PERMANENTE-CALOR MEDIO, y
DELICADO=CALOR BAJO pueden ser usadas con
cualquier selecciOn de ciclo. La seleccion S6/o
Aire sin calor puede ser usada solamente en el
ciclo Tiempo de Secado.
La seleccion de $61o Aire sin calor da vueltas a la
carga sin calor. Use $61o Aire para refrescar ropa,
almohadas o mantas, o para quitar el polvo de las
cortinas.
3. Cargue/a secadora. Si desea, agregue unhoj
de papel suavizante.

10. Limpie el fi/tro de pelusa despues de

5eleccion de Cido
Gire elselector en el sentido de lasagujasdel reloj hasta
la posici6n deseada.
Cada ciclo termina con un periodo de enfriamiento. El
calor se apaga autom_iticamente y la carga contin0a
dandovueltas pot 5-10 minutos. Estoreduce lasarrugas
y facilita la descarga de la secadora.
Eltiempo de secado variacon elgrado de humedad de
la carga, peso y tipo de telas, temperatura ambiental
y humedad, tipo de instalaci6n, voltaje el@ctrico o
presi6n de gas.
Cido Autosecado Planchado
permanente
Este es el mejor ciclo para prendas de planchado
permanente, tejidos y ropa delicada. El tiempo de
secado es determinado autom_iticamente.
• Temperatura calor medio essugerida para prendas
a de planchado permanente.
• Temperatura calor bajo es sugerida para tejidos y
ropa delicada.
Si la carga secada no puede set quitado
inmecliatamente, el selector de ciclo avanzar_i a la
posiciOnPara Desarrugar.
Las prendas siguen dando vueltas pot un periodo
adicional de 30 minutos sin calor, para reducir las
arrugas.
Una alarma sonar_ibrevemente cada 5 minutos, para
recordarle que debe remover la carga.
Cido Autosecado Regular
Este es el mejor ciclo para prendas de algod0n que
pueden secarse en la secadora.
Eltiempo de secaclosedetermina autom_iticamente a
una temperatura de suelecci6n. Esteesel mejor ciclo
para prendas de construcci6n y tela similares, o
• Paraarticulosque requierenmayortiempodesecado,
coloque el selector en MAS SECO.
• Paraarticulos querequieren menostiempo de secado, o
coloque el selector en MENOS SECO.
Cido Tiempo de Secado
Este cido provee hasta 70 minutos de tiempo de
secado a la temperatura de su elecci6n.
Consejos para Conservar Energia
,, Mantenga el filtro de pelusa limpio y provea un
escape correcto para la secadora.
Clasifique el lavado correctamente y selecdone
la temperatura y el dclo apropiado. Siempre
que sea posible, elija el ciclo autom_itico de
secado, para obtener el tiempo de secado
justo.
Seque solamente las cargas completas. Las
prendas sueltas y las cargas pequenas
requieren m_is tiempo para secarse.
Evite sobrecargar la secadora, agregar prendas
humedas a una carga a medio secar o secar
pot demasiado tiempo.
Abrir la puerta sin necesidad deja escapar el
aire caliente, Io cual prolonga el tiempo de
secado.
,, Seque una carga inmediatamente despues de
la anterior para aprovechar la secadora
caliente.
,, Si es posible use la secadora en dias de poca
humedad.
,, Instale la secadora en un ambiente donde la
temperatura sea de pot Io menos 45°F (7°C).
