Note :
1• Always fill between the mini and maxi marks on the carafes. If the
water level is too low the appliance will switch off too early. If overfilled, the water will boil over.
2• When operating, the lid and basket become hot Let the appliance
cool down before removing.
3• Never use the appliance with an other base than the one supplied.

1• Always unplug before cleaning.
2• Make sure that the carafe is cool down.
3• Clean and rinse the carafe, the basket, the filter lid and the tube.
4• The lid can also be cleaned. Make sure that it is in its right position
before operating again.
5• Wipe the outside surface of the base with a damp cloth.
NOTE : Never immerse the carafe and base into water or any other
liquid.

it cool down completely before using again, taking off parts or cleaning.

14• Never operate the appliance when the carafe is empty.
15• Do not remove the lid when the appliance is operating.
16• Do not overfill, otherwise the water may boil over.

> Before 1st use :
When 1st use, boil with clear water (without coffee or tea), then clean
the appliance (see cleaning instructions).
> How to use your tea maker :
1• Remove the lid of the carafe, the basket and the filter lid.
2• Fill the carafe with water (see water level indicators on the carafe).
3• Place the desired amount of coffee or tea into the filter basket.
4• Place the filter basket into the carafe and close the lid.
5• Plug the cord into an electrical outlet et begin brewing (red light on).
6• The tea maker works by heating water in the carafe and then forcing
it up through the tube and into the filter basket. After a few minutes coffee or tea will start to filter through into the carafe. As the process
continues, the clear water will gradually turn into brewed coffee or tea.
7• After about 7-9 minutes, the brewing will be completed and the tea
maker becomes to keep-warm status (red light off, green light on) for
keeping the brew at serving temperature.
