For no spin, select the option “Rinse Hold”. When the option
light is flashing, turn the programme selector to “Drai n” and
press the “Start/Pause”.

Prewash cycle increases programme duration by 5 to 20 min. Consumption values were measured in normalized
conditions in compliance with Standard IEC 60 456. Consumption data in the home may vary with respect to the values
in the table in relation to the water supply pressure and temperature, the load and the type of wash.
The remaining time indicator can similarly deviate from the values in the table, because it takes into account the

household conditions applicable at that time. **To reduce the water temperature, some cold water is added at the end
of the main wash cycle, before the pump drains the water out.

ADDING DETERGENT AND ADDITIVES
Add the detergent and the additives into the dispenser as follows:
• Programme with pre and main wash
• Main wash programme without prewash
• Fabric softeners and conditioners
• Stain remover agents
• Anti-scale agents (water hardness 4)
Important:
• Be careful not to fill more than the
• For programme with prewash: do not use liquid detergents.
• For programmes without prewash from cold to 40° C it is recommended to use a liquid detergent to avoid
whitish residues on the coloured laundry.
• With a Start delay, use a dose aid for liquid detergent, placed directly in the drum.

• For quick, economical washes. Ideal for minimum loads of lightly-soiled articles.
“Prewash” button
• Only for heavily soiled loads (for example sand, granular dirt) sensible. The cycle time increases
from 5 to 20 min.
“Intensive Rinse” butt on
• The water level and the cycle time increase for improved rinsing efficiency.
• This option is particularly suitable for areas with very soft water washing baby linen and helps
people with allergies.

Terminate the “Rinse Hold” option:
• Press the “Rinse Hold” button again; the programme will terminate automatically with the final
spin cycle for the present wash programme.
• If you do not wish to spin the clothes, turn the programme selector knob to the drain programme
and “Start” again.
“Spin speed reduction” button
• Every programme has an automatic predefined maximum spin speed.
• Press the button to set another spin speed.
• If no lamps are on, the final spinning is cancelled.
PROGRAMME START

up. The indicator lamps show the sequence reached in the programme. After starting the programme,
the sequence indication runs from left to right through Wash, Rinse, Spin. When the sequence of the
programme is finished the corresponding lamps goes out.

DOOR LOCK
During the running programme the door can be opened for adding further laundry.
The door locks automatically in all rinsing and spinning cycles. If the programme is stopped or th e
electrical power supply is terminated, the door lock will open after approximately 1 minute.

• The remaining time is on “0:00” and all the lights of the programme sequence indication are “Off”.
