“Speed Reduction” button

• A maximum spin speed is assigned to each programme.

• Press the button to set another speed for the spin cycle.

• If the spin speed “0” is selected, the final spin is cancelled. The water is drained out only.

“Easy Ironing” button

• To lessen creasing, the water quantity is increased and the clothes are spun very gently at reduced power. This makes your laundry significantly damper at the end of the programme.

“Eco Wash” button

• The duration of the wash is extended and the temperature reduced. This saves you up to 30% energy and maintains good washing results.

PROGRAMME START

After you have selected the programme and the additional option, the indicator light over the

“Start/Pause”

button flashes. Turn on the tap and start the programme by pressing the

“Start/Pause”

button. Now the

indicator light above the button goes on. In addition, all programme phases are

indicated by the associated lights. After the end of a programme phase the associated indicator light goes out. Thus the programme sequence indicator moves from left to right across the wash, rinse and spin phases. At the end of the programme only the “End” indicator is still on.

DOOR LOCK

In the first 15 minutes after the start of the

“Cotton”, “Coloured Cotton” and “Synthetic” programmes the door can be

opened to add further laundry. This is not possible if “Rapid Wash” is selected.

PROGRAMME END

• The “End” display lights up.

1. Turn the programme selector knob to the “Off” position.

2. Turn off the tap.

3. Open the door and unload the machine.

RESELECT AFTER PROGRAMME START

A newly-selected programme will continue in the same programme section during which the current programme was interrupted. Therefore do not add any more detergent.

1. Press the

“Start/Pause”

button to interrupt the programme. The indicator light flashes.

2. Select the new programme (with temperature), any additional options and

- if you wish - another spin speed.

3. Press the

“Start/Pause”

button again to

restart the programme.

• If you are in the “Prewash” programme step this additional option can not be deselected as described (to do this see “Interrupt/Cancel Programme).

CANCEL/DELETE PROGRAMME

1. Press the

“Start/Pause”

button to interrupt the programme. The indicator light flashes.

2. Set the programme selector to “Drain/ Cancel”. The spin speed

“0”

and the

remaining time “2 minutes” are displayed.

3. Press the

“Start/Pause”

button to start

the “Drain/Cancel” programme.
