SAFEGUARDING THE ENVIRONMENT

Follow local regulations for scrapping.
Keep the packaging materials (plastic bags,
polystyrene parts, etc.) out of reach of children, as
they are potentially dangerous.
2. Appliance
The appliance is made using recyclable materials.
Disposal must be carried out in accordance with
local environmental regulations for waste disposal.
Make the appliance unusable by cutting off the
power cord. The appliance must be delivered to an
authorised collection centre for the recovery of
refrigerant gas.

Use the thermostat to select the ideal storage
temperature as indicated in the enclosed
product sheet.
Do not install the appliance in places exposed to
direct sunlight or near heat sources since this
will increase power consumption.
With built-in appliances, do not obstruct the
ventilation grilles (see Care and Maintenance
chapter).
With free-standing appliances, remove
accumulated dust from the condenser at the
rear of the appliance at least once a year
(see Care and Maintenance chapter).
Do not place hot food in the refrigerator.
Limit the frequency of door opening of both
refrigerator and freezer compartments.
Defrost the appliance at least twice a year.

ensure that refrigerant pipelines are not damaged.

COMPARTMENT
Switching on the appliance
Plug in the appliance.
The thermostat, located inside the refrigerator compartment,
is used to adjust refrigerator compartment temperature; the
freezer compartment does not require any temperature
adjustments.
Adjusting the temperature
1.
For correct operation and optimum storage of food,
follow instructions given in the enclosed product
sheet for thermostat adjustment.
2.
To adjust the temperature in the refrigerator
compartment, set the thermostat control knob to:

Note:
The ambient air temperature, frequency of door opening and
the position of the appliance can affect internal temperatures.

How to use the refrigerator compartment

Note:
The space between the shelves and the rear wall of the
refrigerator compartment must be unobstructed to allow
circulation of air.
Do not place food in direct contact with the rear wall of the
refrigerator compartment.
Do not place hot food in the refrigerator or freezer.
Store liquids in closed containers.
Important:
Storing vegetables with high water content can cause
condensation to form on the glass shelf of the crisper
drawer: this will not affect the correct operation of the
appliance.
