Before you wash
your fmt load
SAFETY
Careless use of any appliance can injure the user or damage the
machine. Read and remember the safety information on the inside
cover of the “Bat-Pa k” folder.
INSTALLATION_
Be sure your washer is installed according to installation instructions.
OPERATION
For best results, read and understand this booklet before you wash
your first load. Keep it for future reference.
LAUNDERING
The last steps to take before starting your washer are some of the most
important:
A. Measure detergent and put it in the washer basket. [“Laundry
Guide” pages 9-10.)
B. Sort laundry properly. [“Laundry Guide” page 5.)
C. Load the washer properly. [“Laundry Guide” pages 6-7.)
D. Add other laundry aids (bleach, fabric softeners, water condition-
ers, etc.) according to instructions on page 7 in this book, and
“Laundry Guide” pages 11-13.
Remove the Consumer Buy Guide label.
Starttng your washer
Before starting your washer, be sure you have measured and
added detergent, put in a properly sorted load, and have used
other laundry aids only as recommended in your “Laundry Guide.’

setting that describes the size of
the load you want to wash
