Programmes with pre-wash last about 15 minutes more than programmes without pre-wash. Water and energy
consumption values were measured in stan dard conditions in compliance with the St andard IEC 60 456.
Individual consumption may vary in comparison with the values specified in the table, because of differences in
supply water pressure and temperature, the load an d the typ e of wash.

ADDING DETERGENT AND ADDITIVES
Add the detergent and the additives into the dispenser as
follows:
• Programme with pre and main wash
• Main wash programme without prewash
• Fabric softeners and conditioners
• Chlorine bleach
• Stain remover agents
Anti-scale agents (water hardness 4)

Important Note:
• Be careful not to fill more than the
“MAX”
level mark.
• For programme with prewash: do not use liquid
detergent.
• For programmes without prewash from cold to 40° C, it is recommended to use a liquid
detergent to avoid white traces on coloured washing.

PRESS THE BUTTON CORRESPONDING TO THE REQUIRED OPTION
“1/2 Load ” button
• Reduces the water consumption in the “Cotton” and “Synthetics” programmes above all
during prewash and rinse.
• Especially suitable for lightly soiled or small loads (reduce the detergent quantity).
“Rinse Hold ” button
• The laundry remains in the last rinse water without progressing to spin cycle to avoid
creasing and prevent colours from changing.
• This option is particularly recommended for the programme “Synthetics” or “Delicate”.
• This option is perfectly suitable if you wish to postpone the spin or you don’t wish to spin
the washing.
Note:
the programme selector stops on “”.
Terminate the programme
• Press the “Rinse Hold” button again; the programme will terminate automatically with the
spin cycle corresponding to the previously selected wash programme.
• If you don’t wish to spin the clothes, switch off the appliance by pressing the “On/Off ”
button. The pilot light goes out. Turn the programme selector to the “Drain” position and
switch on the appliance.
PROGRAMME START
Open the tap and press the “On/Off ” button. The pilot lamp lights up.
DOOR LOCK
During the running programme the door cannot be opened
The door locks automatically during all programmes.
If the programme is stopped or the electrical power supply is terminated, the door lock will
open after approximately 1 minute.
PROGRAMME END
• The programme selector knob is at “Stop”.
1. Press the “On/Off” button. The pilot light goes out.
2. Cancel the options by pressing the corresponding buttons.
3. Turn the water supply tap off.
4. Wait for the door to unlock (about 1 minute).
5. Open the washing machine door and the drum flaps and unload the machine.
SELECTING A NEW PROGRAMME, SPIN SPEED, OPTIONS AFTER
PROGRAMME START
1. Press the “On/Off” button to switch off the appliance. The pilot lamp lights up.
2. Select another programme, the spin speed and the options.
3. Press the “On/Off” button to switch on the appliance.
The pilot lamp lights up.
TO STOP, RESET A PROGRAMME BEFORE THE END
1. Press the “On/Off” button to switch off the appliance. The pilot lamp lights up.
2. Set the programme selector to “Drain”.
3. Press the “On/Off” button to start the drain programme.
Only open the door when the programme selector is at “Stop” and
the door is unlocked (after approximately 1 minute).
