­To switch on the oven light.
• To cook any foodstuff
• Pre-heat the oven to the desired cooking temperature and place the food inside as soon as the red thermostat indicator switches off.
• It is advisable to use the second or third level.
• To cook on max. 2 levels.
• If necessary, switch the position of the dishes during cooking time for optimal cooking results. Oven pre-h eating is not n ecessary (e xcept for pizzas and focaccia).
• Use the grill function to cook sirloin steaks, kebabs, sausages, vegetables au gratin and for making toast.
• Preheat the oven f or 3/ 5 min. Du rin g coo kin g th e door must remain closed. When cooking meat, to avoi d spatters of fat and smoke, pour a little water into the drip tra y located on the first level. Turn over the meat during cooking.
• This function is ideal to cook large chunks of meat (roast beef, roast joints).
• During cooking the door must remain closed.

Use this function to cook on one or more levels simultaneously (e.g.: fish, vegetables, sweets) without transferring odours from one foodstuff to the other.
- Choose foods that require the same cooking time.
- Take out the cooked food, and finish cooking the other food if necessary.
- Do not preheat the oven.
Ideal for cooking:
- fruit pies
- pies
- vegetables
- pizza, focaccia
- poultry that weighs more than 3 kg.
Preheat the oven for pizzas and focaccia ONLY. Ideal for thawing frozen food at room temperature.
Leave the food in its packaging to prevent it from drying. This function is ideal:
- to finish baking fruitcakes or cheesecakes.
- to thicken sauces.
Use this function for the last 10 or 15 minutes of cooking time.
HOW TO OPERATE THE OVEN
• Turn the oven selector knob to the desired cooking function. The oven lamp switches on.
• Turn the thermostat knob clockwise to the requir ed temperature. The red thermostat indicator light switches on. When the required temperature is reached the red thermostat indicator light switches off.
At the end of cooking:
• Turn the knobs back to 0.
