Undercertainconditions,Hydrogengasmaybeproducedinahot-watersystemthathasnotbeen usedfortwoweeksormore.HYDROGENGASISEXPLOSIVE. Ifthehot-watersystemhasnotbeenusedforsuchaperiodoftime,beforeusingthedishwasherturn onallthehot-watertapsandletthewaterflowfromeachofthemforseveralminutes.Thiswillrelease anyaccumulatedhydrogengas.Asthegasisflammable,donotsmokeoruseanopenflameduring thistime.
Thisappliancemustbegrounded.Intheeventofa malfunctionorbreakdown,groundingwillreduce theriskofanelectricshockbyprovidingapathof leastresistanceofelectriccurrent.Thisappliance isequippedwithacordhavinganequipment­groundingconductorandagroundingplug. Ifthereisnorinse-aidwarninglightinthecontrolpanel,youcanestimatetheamountfromthecolour oftheopticallevelindicatorlocatednexttothecap.Whentherinse-aidcontainerisfull,thewhole indicatorwillbedark.Astherinse-aiddiminishes,thesizeofthedarkdotdecreases.Youshouldneverlet therinseaidlevelfall1/4full.

Therinseaiddispenserhasfourscales.Setthelevertotheposition"3".Ifthereis excessivefoamingattheendofthewash,reducethesettingto"1"or"2".Ifdishes arewetorstreakyafterdrying,adjustto"4".
NOTE:
Increasethedoseiftherearedropsofwaterorlimespotsonthedishesafterwashing. Reduceitiftherearestickywhitishstainsonyourdishesorabluishfilmonglasswareor knifeblades.
Detergentswithitschemicalingredientsarenecessarytoremovedirt,crushdirtandtransportitoutofthedishwasher. Mostofthecommercialqualitydetergentsaresuitableforthispurpose.

Normallynewpulveriseddetergentiswithoutphosphate.Ifdetergentswithoutphosphateareusedinthecase ofhardwateroftenwhitespotsappearondishesandglasses.Inthiscasepleaseaddmoredetergenttoreach betterresults.Detergentswithoutchlorinedoonlybleachalittle.Strongandcolouredspotswillnot beremovedcompletely.Inthiscasepleasechooseaprogramwithahighertemperature.
ConcentratedDetergent
Basedontheirchemicalcomposition,detergentscanbesplitintwobasictypes:
conventional,alkalinedetergentswithcausticcomponents lowalkalineconcentrateddetergentswithnaturalenzymes
Theuseofnormalwashingprogramsincombinationwithconcentrateddetergents reducespollutionandisgoodforyourdishes;thesewashprogramsarespecificallymatched tothedirt-dissolvingpropertiesoftheenzymesoftheconcentrateddetergent.Forthisreason "normal"washprogramsinwhichconcentrateddetergentsareusedcanachievethesame resultsthatcanotherwiseonlybeachievedusingintensiveprograms.

Detergenttabletsofdifferentbrandsdissolveatdifferentspeeds.Forthisreasonsome detergenttabletscannotdissolveanddeveloptheirfullcleaningpowerduringshort programs.Thereforepleaseuselongprogramswhenusingdetergenttablets,to ensurethecompleteremovalofdetergentresiduals.
DetergentDispenser
Thedispensermustberefilledbeforethestartofeachwashcyclefollowingtheinstructions providedinthewashcycletable. Generally,onlyonetablespoonofdetergentisneededfor anormalwashload.Moreheavilysoileditemsneedmoredetergent.Alwaysaddthe detergentjustbeforestartingthedishwasher,otherwiseitcouldgetdampandwillnot dissolveproperly.
