MOTOR
Direct current version with permanent magnets. The stator includes the ferroxdure permanent magnets. The rotor contains the laminated soft iran Gare, the coils and the commutator. Two brush hotders, which contain 2 carbon brushes, are placed opposite each other. The carbon brushes rest on the
commutator to provide a sliding contact to pass current.
The motor shaft is equipped with an insulated pulley, Service Code ofthe insulated pulley does not appear because it is
not replaceable.
The motor is ted by the "Control unit" which supplies the different vortages required, depending on the speed.

r ROTATION TIME," '
( Normal:
The normal rhythm is effected by means of the fast cam disc (3) wh ich, by means of a mechanical arrangement in the
( timer, allows slowcam disc 5 to operate as a fastone. Then, by closing contacts 3.25 and 5.25there will be 7.5" rotation in
clockwise direction, and by closing contacts 3.33 and 5.35 there will be 7.5" rotation in counter-clockwise direction,
while with contact 1-31 open there will be a stop of 7.5".
( ~
The slow rhythm is obtained by the closing of the same contacts of the normal rhythm and of the contacts 4-24 and 2-32. When contacts 4-24 and 2-32 are closed there is no revolution of the drum tor 3", as the motor is not ted by the electronic
( mode. When contacts 4-24 and 2-32 are open, the drum stops tor 12".
( DRAIN PUMP
The reverse revolution of the drum, as previously described, takes plaGe by the closing of contacts 3-23,5-25 I 3-33 and 5-35.
( Rotation speed: approx. 2500 r.p.m.

OVERFLOW PROTECTION PRESSOSTAT
This pressostat will switch on the drain pump when the quantity of water in the tub exceeds approx. 36 liters.
TIMER
A Graulet type with 60 impulses -Type 914/1393.
The timer programme chart includes 3 basic programmes (normal, delicate and wool programme), 3 stop positions and 3
( start positions. Besides, on positions 26 and 44 there is an optional rinse stop (stop with water in the tub).

In the washing machine there are: #1
'-1
A) A fixed deviation thermostat with single temperature directly connected to the timer motor, normally closed, with the
following features: TH 40 °C: opening 37 :t 3 °C ..'
(recognizable by 2 grey marks) closing > 24 °C .
B) An adjustable thermostat with a nominal rating of 10°C -+- 90 °c (normally closed) while at the low start position (0 ~
point) mechanically open. .
The thermostat contacts are normally closed at a setting between 10°C -30 °c. Under influence of the ambient -or
not energized.
C) A fixed thermostat, normally closed, with the following features: (
-opening 103 °c
-closing approx. 81°C Its function is to disconnect the heating element in case heating without water in the tub should occur. (
(incoming water temperature it might happen that the thermostat contacts are not closed and the heating element is
