Your new Twist-In Lamp Holder....
The replacement lamp holder you have received allows for faster, easier lamp replacement, in the event of a failure. This
new lamp holder is installed in the same manner as your pr evious lamp hol der. The new lamp wires connect exactly as
before. Bulb replacemen t, h ow ev er, is performed differently and this procedure is ex pl a ined below.
To replace a Snap-In bulb....
1. Be sure the power to th e lamp is t u rned off.
2. Insert a sm all, flat-bl ade screwdriver into the space between the twist - in lamp holder
and the snap-in bulb assembl y.
3. Gentl y rotate the screwdriver as shown in Fig. 2. Repeat this action until th e bulb is
loose.
4. Pull the bulb in an upwar d direction until it is free.
5. Ver ify that the replacement bulb is the correct wattage by the colored dot on the bulb
assembly (see “Part Numbers”). I n sert t he alignm ent tab of t he new bul b into the lamp
holder and press downwards to lock the new bulb into place.
