designed to alert
military personnel of a
restricted area
violation

The Wheelock Personnel Alert System has been developed as a solution to minimize terrorist
threats to naval piers and bases. The Personnel Alert System is an integrated emergency
voice alert system that notifies naval personnel in the event of an emergency. This system has
been designed specifically to meet the needs of naval bases where there is a need to
broadcast messages in an outdoor environment.

A typical system can broadcast an intimidating warning in
any language to ward off a potential threat via a powerful
speaker cluster consisting of (4) four 30 watt weatherproof
horns. The message can be initiated by pushing an alert
button located in a guard shack. Here is an example of
three messages:

#1 “Small craft security violation on pier 1.
You have entered a federal restricted area, immediately
exit the area, the use of force is authorized if you do not
immediately exit the area. Repel boarders.
Repel boarders on pier 1.”

#2 “Personnel security violation pier 1 all hands
stand fast, personnel security violation on pier 1, all
hands stand fast. Personnel security violation on pier 1,
repel boarders, repel boarders.

#3 “All hands standby for colors.”

In addition, the system can be designed to meet your specific requirements depending on
the type of application. Technical and applications support is available to assist you with
