Use this product according to this instruction manual. Please keep this instruction manual for future reference.
GENERAL:
Indoor/Outdoor Strobe Appliance Enclosure, Model EN4, is designed to be used with Wheelock’s Series RSS Strobe Appliance. The EN4 enclosure, rated as a NEMA 4 enclosure, provides protection from windblown dust, rain and snow. The EN4 enclosure is UL Listed for use, both indoors or outdoors, in areas with a temperature range from 0˚ C (32˚ F) to 49˚ C (120˚ F). See Table 1 below for UL listed candela (cd) ratings of the RSS Strobe when using the EN4 Enclosure.

WARNING: DO NOT SET THE MULTI-CANDELA STROBE APPLIANCE ON THE 15cd SELECTION. THE REDUCED LIGHT OUTPUT RATING FOR THE 15cd SELECTION WILL NOT MEET THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF NFPA 72. USE SETTINGS OF 30cd OR HIGHER.

1. Figure A is typical of a ¾ in. Rain tight conduit hub with neoprene o-ring threaded for rigid
conduit and imc. (O-Z/GEDNEY #CHM-75 or equivalent.)
2. Figure B is typical of a ¾ in. female adapter (Carlton #E942 or equivalent).
3. Figure C is typical of a ¾ in.-1/2 in. reduce bushing (Appleton #RB series or equivalent).
4. Figure D is typical of a galvanized ½ in. conduit nipple.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS FOR
ENCLOSURE AND COVER
1. Rinse with water to remove abrasive dust
and dirt.
2. Wash with soap or mild detergent, using a
soft cloth (do not scrub).
3. Rinse once more, than dry with a soft cloth
or chamois.

or chamois. To remove grease or wet paint, rub gently with a cloth wetted thoroughly with naptha then wash and rinse. DO NOT USE RAZOR BLADES.
