4. USE WITH AMPLIFIERS – In order to avoid damage to drivers and other equipment, it is advisable to establish and
follow a routine for powering up and powering down a sound system. With all system components connected, turn
on source equipment (mixers, signal processors, record and playback units etc.) BEFORE powering up ampliers.
Transient voltages from powering up source equipment can damage speakers if amplifiers are already turned on.
Make sure that amplier volumes are set to their minimum settings and power up any system ampliers LAST. It is
recommended that all system components be allowed to stabilize for few seconds before any source signals are
introduced or level setting adjustments are made. Similarly, when shutting systems down, turn all ampliers off rst,
before powering down any other system components.
5. CABLES – Do not use shielded or microphone cables for connection between amplifiers and speakers. Use only
approved speaker cables with proper connectors.
6. RIGGING – SUSPENDING – MOUNTING – RIGGING, Suspending and mounting of these speaker systems can
expose members of the public to serious health risks and even death. Under no circumstances attempt to rig, suspend
or otherwise mount these speakers unless you are fully qualied and certied to do so by relevant local, state and
national authorities. All relevant safety regulations must be followed. If you are not properly qualied or do not know of
pertinent regulations, consult qualied personnel for advice.
7. CAUTION – These professional loudspeaker systems are capable of generating very high sound pressure levels. Use
care with placement and operation to avoid exposure to excessive volume levels. Permanent hearing damage can
result when operated to extreme levels.
8. SERVICE – There are no user serviceable parts inside this product. Users should not attempt to service this product.
Warranty nullication could result if this is attempted.

variety of venues. Focus’ easy adaptability makes it perfect for portable rentals, touring and stage shows.
Optimised acoustic engineering
The Focus family has 4 components to choose from - a 12” and 15” PA and a 18” and twin 18” subwoofer. Focus tops
and subs are superbly engineered to work together seamlessly and provide maximum efficiency. The two-way PA
speakers employ a High-Q 100° x 10° long-throw waveguide horn geometry to project the sound au the way to the back
of large listening areas. All this comes together to create a point-source array system!

Sonic Impact
At peak output a single Focus-15 can pump out 135db SPL; maximum power handling is rated at 2800 watts peak.
Focus subs put out an equally impressive 146dB peak SPL of pounding bass with a maximum power handling capacity
of 8000 watts peak. Need more? Just double up! The Focus V-Tech side-by-side driver placement maximizes mutual
coupling and boundary-effect reinforcement to move massive amounts of air and push the beat to the soul of your
audience.

INSTALLATION
• Before attempting to install a FOCUS Series loudspeaker system please refer to the important warnings and safety
instructions. Only qualied personnel should install a loudspeaker system.
Improper installation of a loudspeaker system can cause serious harm and even death if correct procedure is
not followed. Anyone attempting installation assumes all liability arising from such use.
FOCUS HANGING INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Safe Rigging
FOCUS-12, FOCUS-15 suspendable version loudspeakers are supplied with built-in internal brackets. The system is
designed to facilitate the suspension of the loudspeaker by a qualied person familiar with rigging and hardware industry
practices. Improper installation may result in damage, injury or death.
Working Load Limit
The working load limit (WLL) of any FOCUS-12, FOCUS-15 suspendable loudspeaker will be maintained as long as no
more than 136kg (300 lb) is suspended by minimum of Two (2) PRIMARY SUSPENSION ponints (Track Suspension), or
46kg (100 lb) is suspended by TWO (2) of the SECONDARY SUSPENSION POINTS (M10 Forged Shoulder Eyebolts).
Flying for Portable Application (Primary Suspension)
For portable, temporary supension of FOCUS-12, FOCUS-15 Models, order the FOCUS. This kit includes four
detachable y-clips. For additional suspension components, contact a professional rigging hardware supplier.
