RF Coaxial Cables
RF 50Ω Coaxial cables are designed and intended to
carry power and voltage. 50Ω is a compomise in the
impedance of the cable to allow these functions to be
performed.
50Ω cables can range in their impedance from 47Ω to
52Ω. There is not an ideal impedance, but 50Ω has
been set for a performance benchmark.

TNC - Threaded Neill-Concelman - Threaded Version of a BNC (Bayonet Style). A TNC can
be either 50Ω or 75Ω Impedance, but most applications will call for a 50Ω Impedance. The
TNC has great performance at microwave frequencies.
“N” Type - Neill Connector - Threaded RF connector. The “N” Type connector is used for microwave frequencies.
UHF and/or Mini UHF - Threaded RF connector. The UHF connector is used widely in band
radio frequencies.
