Product Description
The WRC SerTek™ W5-JEM1 is a single channel EtherNet/IP to Serial Device Gateway typically used to interface barcode
scanners, torque guns, mass flow controllers, printers and other serial devices into higher level automation system
architectures. The W5-JEM1 features a built-in network switch to allow easy daisy-chaining of W5-JEM1 modules with other
EtherNet/IP devices. The RS-232/485 serial port has a 9-pin D-sub connector to interface Modbus ASCII/RTU devices as well as
other generic ASCII protocols.
