Introduction
The FP-3018B is an LED-Backlit flat panel display module designed to be a drop-in replacement for the Honeywell Universal Station Sony Flat Screen CRT-type display utilizing the EPDG video system.
The FP-3018B utilizes the existing openings in the front bezel of the US to control display settings such as brightness and contrast.
Installation is easy. The FP-3018B is ready to mount to the existing bezel. A power cord with a twist-lock plug is provided. The video connector is the standard 15-pin connector. A 15-pin to 9-pin adapter is provided to allow connection to the 9-pin ribbon cable video source utilized in some Universal Stations. Use your existing video controls bracket with the provided adapter box. See below for more details.

Setup
The FP-3018B has been set up at the factory. These factory settings will yield a close to perfect display for a typical US with EPDG video. The horizontal position and the phase adjustments may have to be slightly adjusted for your particular US. The brightness, contrast and black level values can be adjusted for your particular environment and preference. See Page 4 for more detail.
A is a 6-button menu: The green button acts as the MENU or Back button when pushed. The Up and Down arrows both act as the NEXT function. The Left and Right arrows move through sub-categories as well as decrease or increase the values of the sub-category. The plus sign with arrows at the top of this menu is not used.
B is a 3-button menu: The green button acts as the MENU or Back button when pushed. The Right and Left arrows must be pushed simultaneously to achieve the NEXT function in the main menu as well as in sub-categories. When in a sub-category if they are pushed one at a time they move through sub-categories as well as increase (Right Arrow) and decrease (Left Arrow) values of the sub-category.
C is a 5-button menu: The green button acts as the MENU button when pushed. The Up and Down arrows act as a NEXT function. The Minus (-) symbol and Plus (+) symbol are to move through sub-categories as well as decrease or increase the values of the sub-category.

NOTE: Factory Setting for Timeout Delay has been set at “0” which forces you to explicitly exit out of the OSD. (Timeout delay time can be changed in the setup mode in the “SYSTEM/ OSD Configuration”, however if this is done, you must remember to fully exit out of the OSD in order to save your changed setting)
FINE-TUNING: IMAGE / Brightness: Adjust to provide adequate brightness for your ambient light level. IMAGE / Black Level: Adjust as high as possible without getting background glow or noise. IMAGE / Contrast: Adjust for your particular preference. DISPLAY / Phase: Adjust if picture is out of focus, dim or spotty. DISPLAY / CLOCK: If not set properly, the display will exhibit out of focus vertical columns.
Adjust the clock value until the number of these columns is reduced to zero. (Leave at 146 for EPDG)
DISPLAY/DISPLAY CONTROL/DISPLAY POSITION: HORIZONTAL: Adjust Horizontal Position so the image is not chopped off on either side. (Set at 166)
DISPLAY/DISPLAY CONTROL/DISPLAY POSITION: VERTICAL: Adjust Vertical Position so the image is not chopped off at top or bottom. (Set at 255)
