new generation of W D Black ha rd drives
feature Vibration Control Technology
(VCT) which allows the dis ks inside the
drive to adapt to any mounting prob lems
or vibration conditions that are inside

accura cy, performance and reliab ility

In addition to Vibration Control
Technolog y (VCT), WD B lack is al so
equipped with StableTracTM Technology,
which secures the motor shaft inside
the drive at both ends to help redu ce
additional system-induced vibrations.
StableTrac condently stabilizes the
platters inside, resulting in more accurate
tracking in a particular sector during
read and w rite operations and delivers
increa sed per forma nce. (2 TB models
and above)

is equipped with Corruption Protection
Technolog y (CPT), which helps to protect

feature s a dual core proces sor that
offer s twice the processing power to
maximize drive performance. Adding
additional value, WD’s Dynamic Cache
Technology increases performance by
improving caching algorithms in real
time and o ptimizing the cach e allocation
between reads and writes. This results
in the drive automatically allocating more
cache fo r read data, which reduces
data con gestion and increases ove rall
performance.
