TriLink™ IMS gateway provides multi-device access to
converged services within
the home/small office.
The TriLink IMS gateway ensures that a user’s broadband
experience is all that it should be. Whole home coverage for
wired and wireless devices allows delivery of VoIP, high-speed
data, and IPTV through a single self-installed, remotely managed
device.
TriLink supports broadband connections through an integrated
ADSL2+ modem or Ethernet WAN. Versatility is further enhanced
by the gateway’s VersaPort™2, an Ethernet connection that can be
configured as a WAN interface or as an additional LAN interface.
Fixed-mobile convergence (FMC) services, such as IMS or UMA, are
brought to their fullest potential through the advanced wireless features of
TriLink. An internal beam-forming smart antenna adapts to device locations
to provide optimum Wi-Fi coverage and reach. In addition, the gateway uses
power-saving wireless technology to extend the battery life of dual-mode
mobile handsets. A separate SSID for wireless voice allows instant turn-up
of user devices and, along with WMM QoS for voice priority, ensures that call
quality is fully preserved.
DATA SHEET
Extensive voice quality and calling features ensure carrier-grade services to the
home for IMS and softswitch-based networks. SIP enhancements allow simple
network creation and control of VoIP service features such as custom ringing
and call routing capabilities. Voice-optimized Quality of Service (QoS) means
bandwidth-intensive data traffic in the home will not impact revenue-bearing
voice service. An FXO port and selective dialing configurations provide maximum
flexibility in routing calls over VoIP and PSTN networks, along with emergency
lifeline support.
For IPTV delivery, TriLink includes an IGMPv3 proxy for efficient bandwidth
management of video traffic.
For converged services, TriLink is the ideal choice to deliver high-quality,
secure, and convenient new broadband offerings that boost revenue and retain
valuable customers.
