The compact ProLine E90 represents the next generation of Westell’s
popular ProLine ADSL2+ modem. It delivers data rates up to 24 Mbps
and extends data reach up to 2,000 feet longer than ADSL on certain
loops. With ProLine’s dual Ethernet and USB connection, there are
exible solutions for conguring a home or small business network. And
with the addition of a simple Ethernet hub, up to 253 networked users
can be served.
ProLine employs industry-proven Point to Point Protocol over Ethernet
(PPPoE) for connectivity, and local networks are easily supported
through the use of Network Address Translation (NAT) and Dynamic
Host Control Protocol (DHCP). ProLine eliminates the need to load
PPPoE on each of the networked computers.
The ProLine modem is also equipped with a stateful packet inspection
rewall with ve security settings, and it is remotely manageable and
upgradable through industry standard TR-069.
Because the growth in networked peripherals throughout the digital
home has reduced the amount of space available in many home
networks, the compact ProLine E90 effectively answers the need to
reduce space consumption and lower logistics costs.
